To Women,

I resent you. I think you're all very confused spiritually imbalanced people who've been raised wrong. Your worst impulses have been validated, and while that's unlocked power for a small minority of aristocratic women, the majority of both men and women are locked into a very miserable situation that you are a part of and causing. Men have lost their liberty, they are visibly and objectively oppressed by external forces, but you've lost your autonomy and capacity to regulate yourself and be a real human being. You've been reduced to a flippant, ignorant, consuming animal with no understanding of yourself and no spiritual life. Where men have been policed and deprived and moved onto an ascetic life, you have been "liberated" and degraded into borderline NOTHING BUT your libido and anxieties. You have a depraved personal character. I think it is very sad that each year you become less and less capable of becoming good, and rational and free, nor graceful, spiritual and saved. Neither of these two doors are open to you. You will never cast off the cruel tyrant in your soul. All you seem to do now to make sense of such a facet ins your spirit is externalize it, and project it onto a man, whether that's a partner, your father, men in general, the patriarchy or Yahweh himself, they're all really the same to you. You are spiritually sick. Wandering in a liminal morass, maybe it's hell, but it sure isn't peace.

Are animals good or evil? Are invalids? Not all humans are free. Some are enslaved by others, others are enslaved by their hungers and habits and fears or their delusions. Freedom entails the capacity to make real decisions, without any coercion.

I resent women, in so far as they are not listening and taking stock of their folly. I wish they could just grow a little. But our society made big mistakes, it was a bad education that made the liberated woman such an odious, miserable thing. Instead of ennobling a heroic female, we've degraded all chaste virgins and motherly matrons and left them with only chattel slavery as a life path. Feminism made a mistake in seeking liberation but not autonomy. Pleasure, and not rationality or spiritualism. And so it became hollow and decadent and empty.

Still here...?
Hatred and resentment still burns inside you I see...like gentle embers in charcoal fading into twilight. Smoldering with a meager flame...I wonder when your flame will be extinguished? Who knows? It might burn much longer, but every flame dies one way or another. In the end, they'll be nothing left but ashes.

Depravity is a cycle. One that started long before you and me. Before our parents and grandparents. Before 'man' and 'woman'...and I fear it will continue long after the two of us.

We're prisoners of fate you and me...bars forged of oaths, codes, commitments. Walls of self-doubt and accepted limitation. We inhabit these cells, these identities, and call them "us."

You say we can break free by eliminating those you deem 'jailors'...but you're wrong. We build our own prisons. I think the cycle only ends when you find the will to walk away. Until you find the courage to do so unfortunately no choice but to dance with us, confined and discontent, spiraling into oblivion. Ah...I do enjoy this dance of damnation. I wonder if we will do this forever?

I wonder, what do you do in a hostage situation where the hostage holds the key?

>turning to a gender war
That's a convenient thing to say several decades in. Why don't you put your spear down first? Still plenty of feminism rolling around calling men toxic. I really wouldn't describe it as a war per se. It's been much more onesided women being awful to men, and some men suffer less while the majority suffer more, and women really haven't suffered anything of a "war" so much as they suffer from the rotting of their own soul. Drug addicts aren't at war with sober people, they suffer as a consequence of their own folly. It's much like that. Women are getting what they ask for, but not what they want or need. What I say has no effect on women as a group. I can't even get one woman to recognize that she's wrong let alone a population of them. Were i at war, one would think i'd go find women to war with, instead I post here. Instead I reflect. Language, however, is fundamentally a social project. If men find my articulations a cathartic expression of their ineffable feelings, then they are improved in so far as they can verbalize those feelings and do not have to both suffer and be confused about it. If you're so against a gender war, you'd be making far more progress trying to rebuff the female side of it. Lord knows they'd deserve being told no. But here you are.

A rational hostage is free to unlock themselves. An irrational hostage, continues to be a hostage.
>bars forged of oaths, codes, commitments. Walls of self-doubt and accepted limitation. We inhabit these cells, these identities, and call them "us."
You choose oaths, codes and commitments. They are actually expressions of freedom, autonomy from the greek Auto and Nomos which means self and law, literally self-lawed. Go read the dialogue on Gorgias.

Fair enough, I'm not mature, nor secure enough to debate it with you. You would meet my frustrated pains nearly as much as the truth I have to share.
>i appreciate your in-depth thoughts on this topic nonetheless!!
Honestly, I'm a jibbering idiot trying to articulate what it is I'm feeling. If you want real wisdom go read a heavily annotated copy of Plato. In fact, go read the Iliad, the Odyssey the Melian Dialogues, and Plato and some Sumerian myths and the old testament. And then once you get to Kant and Wittgenstein it's a really transformative experience. Go read those guys. I'm a fool compared to them. They've destroyed me more than once, and my only complaint is that I'd wish they'd done it sooner. And that's only the rational people, there's a whole library of books that are even better than that, that are more than rational and not less. If there was a good thing I could do for you it'd be to direct you there. Go read something good, something that'll make you a better person.

i'm basically the same way, but i'm also too stupid to really articulate my thoughts properly (and also it's not that serious to me)

i think you articulate your feelings very well, give yourself credit!

Here's an audiobook:

Go listen to a lecture on the republic or Kant while you do something else. The distinction between the phenomenological world and the numinal world, and the distinction between essential and ostensible definitions, the dialectic and progression of the geist, it's all really good stuff. What is justice and what does it mean to be free? To Plato Freedom is equivalent to justice and rationality and the ability to take on rules yourself by choice. You need rationality to be capable of making internal and external choices, and you need justice to be able to make choices with external consequences that you can anticipate, elsewise you are in a state of bondage, either without clear rules to anticipate any meaning to your choices or the inability to resist your hungers which only worsen the more you satisfy them. To Christians there's an even higher freedom that's possible thanks to God's graceful justice judgement and mercy giving you the choice to sin or follow God's law in your own way and on your own path. There's a lot to learn and it really does help put things into perspective and clarify what helps, what hurts.

>thank u either way for being so fair and nice :]
Well, I'm glad it made you feel a bit better.

I am unable to communicate the ideas more simply. Some could explain it in a more simple elegant and straightforward manner. I am not yet wise enough to know how to do the same.

If there's one good thing I could do for you it would be to ask you not to brand yourself as a stupid being. Don't ascribe it to yourself. What you say that you are is what you feed about yourself. Identify with your strengths. Ignorance is a curable ailment. Don't identify with your rashes or your coughs or your aches or your addictions or your not knowing or you'll be scared to part with them. Be well friend. I'm glad you liked the pigs.
