I'm drunk enough to post this but come at me bruh. Behold the great wall of clinical depression. I'm 6 feet tall and this thing is taller than I am, just waiting till it collapses and I get kicked out of my apartment. Y'all amateur motherfuckers can't even compare.

Do Americans get money back from recycling cans? When I got better I started cleaning my apartment and when I collected the money I found in that process (only coins) I got about 300 bucks worth that I got back after tossing all these coins into a sorting machine. I think the lady in the store got weirded out by that massive payout but I was happy to finally cross that task off my list.
I'm quite familiar with the feeling of not giving a damn how my environment looks but I'm getting better, slowly but steadily. I think switching to a clean diet was the biggest help to get myself into a state of being able to start caring about my environment and the state of cleanliness. I recommend starting small like just cleaning the mirror and the bathroom sink and keeping that place clean, as it's usually a small enough task to do in-between daily tasks. It really helped to buy a bunch of microfiber cloths to make it easy to wipe up some dirt and then putting that cloth into "dirty cloth" pile that gets later washed when there are enough of them to wash them in a separate load.

a few places do, but most don't

I mean, he could start the hobby of smelting these into aluminum ingots, which looks like a fun motivation to clean up these cans and do something fun while at it.

I'm not in burgerland. I don't know of anywhere where I could get money for my cans, or even glass. I did used to hear about people getting money for glass bottles, but I don't think that happens anymore either. People are generally forced to recycle at home, or when they dispose of it, so the refuse workers don't have to do shit. It's a shame, as I'd love to make some cash. Especially if the 'bux cunts never hear about it.
Anyway, I had a dry week before getting four cases of beer delivered this morning. I bought another one when I was out. And it's still not enough to make me black-out or die. FML.

I'm not qualified to help anyone with clinical depression like you, anon. I think you have still a glimmer of hope that things can get better since you don't just rope and choose to "kill yourself" by drinking tons of beer so I guess you can recover if you find a reason to do so.
>black out and die
You would be surprised to learn how resilient the human body is. I had some dark periods in which I drank too much JD and woke up in my own puke, with too few shits go give to clean up the puke for multiple days after waking up that way but that's a while ago now and I worked on myself enough that numbing myself with alcohol isn't desirable for me anymore.
Taper down your consumption and start improving your situation right meow! Don't quit cold turkey tho since that could really kill you. God speed, anon, you can do it! (the recovery part not the killing yourself part, obv.)

I've been there before OP, but I must admit you have me beat because my garbage piles were never taller than me
Eventually I'll just spend an entire day clearing out garbage before letting it pile back up again
You clearly don't have those days lmao

Not gonna lie, that room looks like a satisfying object to clean up, anon. I find cleaning up so dissatisfying when there isn't a clear before/after-effect from cleaning/organizing.

They went to a weaker ABV, so I switched to a stronger brand.
These photos were from the glorious lockdowns. Aside from a year off, I have drank beer almost every day since.
Sadly, my allotment is usually just two cans a day. Though I am breaking that rule more often.
Cases are too bulky to be delivered more than once a month to my shit building, with no elevator/lift, to my top floor flat. I have to take a bus ride to buy at least another two myself, one at a time because of rucksack space. I could delivery app them for a little extra.

No, I'm too pussy to attempt to kms. No access to guns in my cucked nation either.
There is simply no future for a long-term incel and NEET like me, with no living family left.
I'm pushing 40, and my folks died in their early 50s, so I hope I only have fifteen years left of this miserable fucking existence.
