With all this political talk about depopulation, replacement et cetera.Why the fuck is everybody ignoring that it is literally, directly cause by urbanisation? Feminism or economics don't matter. ALL statistics show linear correlation between rates of urbanisation, its growth and gradual decline in birth. EVERY big city on earth has below replacement rates birth rates. Even deeply patriarchal places like Riyadh. That is true even historically that big cities had lik 3x lower birth rates than any rural population. KIDS ARE AN ASSET ON THE FIELD AND A LIABILITY AND COMPETITION IN THE CITY.Whenever I bring this up people ignore me and this is fucking when it is so damn obvious.I get that politicians will stay silent about it because deurbanization will cause their stupid stocks to fall, but why are regular folks not speaking up about stupidity of public narratives on the topic?
