Why do normies think that telling people to get a job is some ultra hard insult? How is not wage slaving bad in any way? With how the economy is looking everybody comes home poor so who cares?
>>82673901Slave morality. It's the same reason they tell you to "just get laid".They have no regard for STD's, divorces, cheating, or any of the baggage that comes in being with women. You don't participate the same way as everyone else, so that means you're a problem.
>>82673942This right here OP, this so much this. Oh my god xister, you are a legend. Jokes aside this is really all there is to it.
>>82673901The reason why normies think telling people to get a job is an "insult" is because they have basically been programmed by society (specifically the mainstream media which has been ran by the elites and politicians) to think that being unemployed is bad. Normies fall for the lie of "if you work hard enough then you'll be able to uplift yourself in this current system," but millennials and Gen Z are a great example of why that isn't true. This young generation of people have worked, they have invested the time, money, resources, etc, trying to improve themselves and save up to buy themselves a house and even manage a family. But this means nothing when your society has been structured in a way to protect the interests of elites over working class men and women, so Gen Z and the millennials end up having nothing. The natural response to the "failure" of Gen Z and millennials from the elites is to promote more talking points in the media about why these young people must work more, and for the people who outright quit on this system (NEETs) they get demonized and evem sometimes dehumanized for not wanting to partake in the system that wasn't made for them.
>>82673989A lot of it is also jealously. The average normie is dirt poor, they can't afford to not work. Even getting less hours might mean a bill doesn't get paid or they eat ramen for two weeks. Then they hear that you willingly don't work and can't afford via various means to not and well they get a little upset and see that as you rubbing it in.
>>82674019>A lot of it is also jealously. The average normie is dirt poor, they can't afford to not workThat's true too, part of it is also them being downright jealous that they don't have the time and freedom that unemployed people have. When you're unemployed you can wake up at whatever time you want, you have time to invest into a hobby, you have more time to spend with your family, friends, etc, you have all of that compared to someone who's a wage slave. Honestly, I remember reading a thread on Reddit where there was a lot of people talking about how the work week should be shortened now that AI has developed to the point that it has (plus, the fact that it's not going to be slowing down anytime soon), people don't want to work 40-50 hour's a week nowadays, especially when they're seen as nothing but a number to these companies and they know that they could be doing better for themselves. >upset and see that as you rubbing it in.Nobody's rubbing it in their faces, unemployed people are just happy that they don't have to partake in the exact system of exploitation that leads to an early death.
Working puts you into debt
>>82673951That would be the case if the government didn't just print money out of thin air...
>>82673901i mean if you don't have a job and you're not saving right now you're going to get super-fucked when we go into a recession so maybe it's good advice
