I am once asking:
What are some jobs an early-mid 20 something year old with social anxiety and autism do that aren't too demanding and/or are pretty laid back in nature?

I don't currently have a license so I can't work as a trucker or anything.

I also don't have a college degree but I have worked in retail before.

Someone please help me out because I'm super lost.

How autistic are you? If you're able to hide it well enough to pass as a normie for at least a few weeks you have a lot more options.

There aren't any. I'm just going to rip off the bandaid. Sooner or later the hierarchy will want you to talk to people, whether it's an hour-long Zoom call or some sort of assessment. Just... don't do retail. It could fuck you up the way it did me.

how did it fuck you up? this anon is right btw, it's all more or less social and stressful nowadays

>how did it fuck you up?
The years of abuse from customers gave me PTSD that makes me enraged whenever something occurs that reminds me of it. I let those assholes walk all over me for the sake of my job and also because I'd freeze up, afraid that responding would escalate matters. Now it doesn't take much to set me off and when I get to that point I don't give a fuck about the consequences because I'm sick of feeling like a cornered animal. NOT IDEAL if you like being a free member of society. It's okay though because I just stay home now and enjoy the peaceful life.

you got arrested for sperging out over some people reminding you of retail customers? well, good to hear you're able to stay out of this bullshit now

No, I've not been arrested, but I become reckless and it could be a problem in the future.

Overnight commercial cleaning isn't horrible for a robot depending on which stores/shops you're asssigned. The good is you will only see your co-workers or anyone else when you start your shift (after 2 or so training days), you can take your breaks when you please and if you get assigned a shop/office which doesn't get very dirty the job is easy. The bad is it will pay like shit if you have lots of immigrants in your area, typically they cut your hours by up to 50% after a couple of weeks since they know you'll get faster once you've learnt the layout, it can be really gross if you get assigned public toilets and/or a dirtier store to clean, you need to be vigilant about keeping a good posture or you're body will ache also some managers are shit at teaching then get mad that you didn't do something but that can happen at any job. Though if you don't like the job you can quit at anytime, there's a high turn over rate and it's a good way to fuck up a cunty managers day if you go AWOL, maybe even "accidently" make a massive mess. I've had 3 night cleaning jobs and I got lucky with managers, semi lucky with workplace. I have a friend who works at a small liqour store in a nice area, they just chill at the check out and play thier switch for most of thier shifts so there are gems out there.. also a huge pile of shit to dig through.

I think mildly autistic. People can tell there's something off about me and it's hard to maintain eye contact but I can speak to them if I have to though I'm usually mute.
>>
>>82675695
How are you coping nowadays, anon? What job are you working these days?
>>
>>82676400
Look up eye contact practice on YouTube and practice speaking to people in online games. Failing at eye contact is extremely off-putting to normies. Force yourself to be more social than you normally would be and it'll get easier over time. You can train yourself to be a cyborg even if you never escape your robotic nature.

Jobwise, assuming that you're fairly competent, look for non-customer-facing jobs at small businesses, where you could actually talk to someone. Despite being bad at socialization, being able to come off as smart but socially awkward failson will be a hell of a lot more likely to get you a job than submitting a resume to some faceless HR manager who will see your lack of credentials and instantly trash your resume.

don't think that you can be too demanding with your job requirements when you don't have any monetizeable skills. You'll likely wear a company shirt and stand in a place because company standards dictate that a certain number of conscious humans need to be present at any given time, and your boss will resent that you are not doing more work despite that aforementioned purpose. The difference between a good work environment and a bad one is how chill your manager is, and has nothing to do with what you're doing.

Anyways, the best thing for you is to get a monetizeable skill and work out how to monetize it yourself so you don't have a boss, but you probably don't have the attention span and willpower to do it.

Night shift security guard and hotel porter work is what you're after.

Elevator technician, I literally spend all day driving around until I get a work order, go and work by myself, and the most interaction I ever have will be asking employees to point me to where I'm supposed to go.
>>
>>82677166
I'm currently a NEET but my parents are pressuring me to get a job and I do need money anyway
>>
>>82677560
I don't have a license. And I thought you needed certification for elevator technician.
>>
>>82677560
How long did it take for you to become one? How often is it that someone dies on the job? Not OP btw. It is a trade where i'm at and you need to go to school for that
