>be me>in college>half ass everything>don't pay attention>somehow straight A's>head of department says he really likes me>literally no idea why>somehow stumble my dumbass into an internship>barely do any work>the other intern goes above and beyond in everything he does>ff to today>get a call from my boss>they want to offer me a full time fully remote position at the company>says they're getting rid of the other guy>mfw I'm not even charismatic>mfw I'm not even a hard worker>mfw I barely even know wtf I'm doingwut
Can't relate OP. Lots of college posts today though, it's very refreshing.
>>82675630it's called being white, welcome to the club
>>82675778Uhh maybe? I honestly don't know
>>82675630Being lucky is better than being good
>>82675630$10 says OP is a femboy and his boss wants to throat fuck him
>>82675630yeah. my conspiracy theory is that ipads and now ai actually did make people substantially retarded cause i seem to just be coasting through what should be difficult while others talk about the absurd effort they put in for nothing
>>82675884I'll bet $50 that OP is a troon and his boss wants to finger bang him.
>>82675972I bet $100 OP is a femanon who'll be carrying her boss's seed before Halloween
>>82675908That kinda might be true. I don't think it's actually intelligence but instead just attention span, with ipad babies literally being unable to focus on anything for my than a few minutes so everything seems too hard for them
>>82676013Yes, maybe. But I hear people in uni talk about holing themselves up in the library for six hours a day, or pulling all-nighters like three times a week, and still stressing and struggling. If people aren't doing proper work in all the hours they talk and brag about, then what are they doing?
>>82675630Getting through college literally just means bothering to put in the barest, most minimum effort possible. Many people still manage to fail or drop out despite this.
>>82675630That is shockingly close to me.>Never review for exams>Cruise through everything>Barely do anything at all>Still straight A>Barely pass degree because put no effort in. Drop out of masters degree>I do not read situations well at all and am very blunt. People think this means I am to the point and no nonsense.>Always ask my opinion on shit. Always like what I have to say>Stumble into a job in Japan>Somehow end up at a dinner party with the ambassador>He likes me and gets me a connection to a job back home>Boss there likes my quote attitude. Introduces me to some president of national private colleges. They basically lobby government>Gets me new job entirely online.>I work 5 days a week. 3 of those are asynchronous. Basically I play video games those days.>Do all of the weeks work on the two days I am actually required to work>Boss thinks I am amazing because everything is done so quickly.>Mfw I literally just play vidya all dayI do not understand what it is about my autistic bluntness that keeps making people give me jobs.
>>82676239I think the whole boomer>it's who you know lelbullshit might actually be right honestly
>>82676268Definitely played a role but I think what this guy said plays into it too >>82675908Before I met that president guy my old boss checked in on me and was like, we meet once you disappeared into the system after some quick training. I look and all the work is done with no issue, you are really good.It is like if I do something like 17x6 people are blown away when I answer from my head and cannot fathom how in my mind I picture 17 physically splitting into 10 and 7 and I multiply each by 6.They think I am some kind of genius but it is just basic math. I think it makes them look retarded by comparison. I have had multiple comments about how I am much faster and stronger at the job than the zoomers we have.
