Is life supposed to feel like this? Nothing good is happening, and it feels like youre just waiting to die. In the meantime, you fill your days with hobbies you pretend to care about, while staring at an white wall would bring you about the same amount of happiness. Is there anything in life that can truly make you happy once you get what you crave?

double dubs
>once you get what you crave?
the absence of craving is what makes one happy
i think we can only truly be happy not by wanting what we don't have, but by wanting what we already have

Well I've never gotten the things I've wanted so I wouldn't be able to tell you if the grass is greener on the otherside. It's better to think that it is, and I find it annoying for anyone to complaining after the fact they got what they wanted.

But how do you know what you want? If wanting things can make you happy
>>

thats a the glass is half full kind of mentality:D
What do you want?
>>

>how do you know what you want?
i don't know. i haven't figured out what i want either. doesn't really matter though. what we want is rarely what we need.
>wanting things can make you happy
it doesn't. when i said "by wanting what we already have" i meant that we can only be happy by being content with the things we have. not by craving for more. treasure the few good things you already have, and if more good things come, then that's great. but don't expect them to come.

Try to get what you really want, don't second guess, just act NOW

I say I want friends that I can relate to and understand me and have fun with, and a girl that makes me feel desired and loved and that she was also my best friend. On top of that I'd like to have money, cars, a house, and all the luxuries that I never had. I'd like to travel and go to places that I've always wanted to go. And i'd like to be a notable person, someone unique and interesting, an intellectual even.

and, so i"m none of those things and my ego is shattered.

You must go on a vision quest and find out what it is you want
>>
>>82676748
So we are here to suffer? Honestly that would be pretty nice.

>What do we need?
if i knew i wouldn't be here talking to you. it's hard to tell the difference between a craving and a need. in life we chase cravings hoping that they'll turn out to be the thing we needed. and when they don't, we start chasing another. it's how most people live, it's what we have to try and escape.

Dam maybe breaking that cycle is what we truly need but how to do that no one knows
