Around 2021, before the ultra spaz ket addict bought twitter, I managed to send a random guy insane and make him permanently delete his account without ever publicly interacting with him. I came across some guy who had some gay opinion about something, can't remember what it was now but it made me mad enough that I replied a few times telling him to kill himself. The thing is, I was on a private account (with no followers) so he couldn't see it. But he could see that people had replied. You're probably wondering why someone would use a private account with zero followers and reply to people, the answer is because I'm mentally ill. Anyway this guy noticed that he had a few replies but he couldn't see them, he tweeted about how he found it confusing. I found this funny so I ended up mass replying to all of his tweets. He was going nuts trying to figure out what was going on. Eventually one of his followers replied that it was a private account doing it. When I saw that I made sure to follow him in case he privated his account, which he did within a few days. I held off for a while so he didn't start going through his recent followers trying to figure out who it was. A few weeks went by and I was now deep enough into his recent followers that he would never find me. He had around 3-4k followers so maybe he would've never found me anyway, but I wanted to be sure. His account was now back to being public so I started reply bombing him again. He went private again eventually, then back to public and tried to ignore me. Eventually I got bored of manual reply bombing so I wrote a Python script to do it for me. With a few tweaks to avoid getting suspended or rate limited, I could now reply bomb every single one of his tweets, even when I was asleep. This worked for me because we were in different timezones, so he was never safe. (cont.)

He was permanently tweeting in all caps, raging about the replies. Despite his high follower count, he never actually got many real replies, only my fake ones. A couple of more months went by and the guy was tweeting less and less, until one day his account disappeared from my timeline. I thought maybe he blocked me, but his account was definitely gone. I set a reminder for 30 days from then to check if his account deletion would make it past the grace period. It did. A decade plus old twitter account was now gone because of me. My first thought was that the fun had ended, but I realised a few minutes later that it had only just begun. His twitter name was now publicly available for anyone to use. I created a new account with his name and searched his (or rather, my) username on twitter to find people he'd previously interacted with so I could follow them. I couldn't remember the cunt's actual display name or picture, so I put some random name and an image of a smiley face as the picture. Anyway I started interacting with his old "friends" letting them know that I deleted my account by accident but I was back now. I'd talk to them occasionally and pretend I knew what the fuck they were on about with all of these inside jokes and references to American football that I didn't understand. I was really half arsing it because I thought they'd realise I wasn't him eventually. But somehow they didn't. It became apparent that all of these people he used to speak to were his online twitter buddies and he didn't know any of them in real life. There weren't a whole lot of them, maybe 20-30 "regulars". I'd driven this guy off twitter and stolen his online identity and I continued to pretend to be him for about 6 months.
>>82676801I got bored eventually so I thought I'd go out with a bang and fake a mental breakdown on twitter, I tweeted about how I was gonna take a load of pills and blow my head off and shit. I got DMs from his twitter friends asking if I was ok so I replied to them all with pictures of my own shit and other random stock images of gross things. I then told all of them that I never liked them and never once cared about any of their opinions on American football or whatever gay shit they used to talk to me about. Some blocked me and some asked if I was ok. I guess I pissed enough of them off because the account got perma suspended after that (was probably one of the images I sent in DMs). A few years have passed now and I can't say I feel bad about any of this. His account was so gay and the things he talked about with his friends were clearly boring as fuck. I've heard that getting accounts unsuspended is now significantly easier since Musk took over, so maybe I'll resurrect the account at some point and continue roleplaying as him.
