Explain snorkeling to me. The straw is tiny so how do you even dive into the water past like 30cm?

scuba require certification and equipment. often need a boat to get dropped off in deeper water.

i prefer freediving because you can just swim out and dive without a lot of gear and can usually go for a longer duration than scuba diving. it's fun to look at all the fish and coral. sometimes even a shark comes and hangs out for a bit.
