Try getting into reading, it's very underrated in my opinion. A lot of people like to say that reading books is "boring" but it's only like that for when you start reading, once you get a hang of it (especially with a book that you enjoy) it's hard to put down a book.

This reminds me of the fact that I have a lot of books that I need to pick back up, lol.

I do read !! But thats not really a social brag hobby, I found out. People just go
>Oh thats nice.
And move on.
Doesnt make them stop to ask questions about it. Not weirdly specific enough

>mixology/bartending (even make some extra dosh if you get a job... i just wanted to say dosh)
i find the man makes the hobby anyway. no one wants to listen to someone talk about their favorite beer but everyone wants to hear about how whiskey tastes like wood and flowers

Oh, I get that. A lot of people like to dismiss reading, but I would say that the reason people do this is because they don't really understand reading (this also goes back to the stereotype of reading being "boring," as I said in my original comment), they see reading as being something that deprives people of time that could be spent doing a hobby that is more "fun." But also, this is the reason why you have to educate people about your hobbies; this will allow them to see your hobby for what it is.

Figure it out yourself, retard. You're supposed to find that out without handholding.

Civil war re-enactors
I lived in Niagara On the Lake during the Bicentennial and saw a lot of activity around the fort.

I personally dont drink or go to bars very often, but I guess I could see if I can get into it as a hobby as something I do for other people only. If I made really good drinks, I bet thatd be impressive. Thanks, anon !!

>You have to educate people about your hobbies
Yeah but like I dont wanna bore them or talk their ear off. Then I feel bad. So unless they specifically ask a out it, I usually keep my mouth shut. Hence why I need something so niche and weirdly specific that it makes people ask. Otherwise, I have no conversation material, no personality, and Im just really boring to talk to.

What if I figure it out wrong? I love being told what to do and what to think and how to be. I love handholding.

these threads classically go on forever because you just keep expanding the world
first you act like nothing suits you
then you throw a bone where you really like one (beanie bait)
so, people post a few more

May I ask you a question? Are these your friends who you're talking about or is it like random people, co-workers, etc?
