No, I'm not dead, just crashed out and needed some time to detox. I might fly abroad to make my dream come true but I'm not going to give up, and neither should you. You can cry, vent and break down, but as long as you stand up afterwards you'll get what you want in life. The game ends only when you give up. Until death all defeat is psychological. So tell me nonnies, what have you been up to? Please don't forget to love yourself, this is a safe space to vent your feelings and connect with others.vidya: https://youtu.be/wbQEA_nxLaE?si=eyRuhi2Om-HijFruhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArhnQCQCxB4https://youtu.be/dFw3e1GJw38?si=o2K6oly4Pu1h7qmLhttps://youtu.be/EsVR039DecQ?si=5Wv9dmQtMVMw1L1X
>>82682671>what have you been up toNew job. Going okay so far. PD told me they aren't gonna get back to me until November which is mad gay. Chased a crackhead away from my workplace today. Two of my friends are being dicks and I'm thinking about cutting them off. Trying to get over feeling lonely romantically. Wish my thumb would heal a little faster from where I jammed it.Other than that, same old same old. Happy I'll see my kid tomorrow. Happy to go to church on Sunday. Glad I'm gonna get my bathroom fixed and bills paid. How are you doing, anon?
>>82682739>New job. Going okay so far. What is it?>How are you doing, anon?Still job hunting as an ESL teacher. Looking for positions abroad, but I'm definitely not leaving my family to stay with another one in Spain. I want to be independent, that's all I ask for.
>>82682818>What is it?Armed security at a "Luxury" apartment building in the city.>job hunting as an ESL teacherI see. I feel like there ought to be plenty of demand for that. Is Spanish your native tongue, or is English?
>>82682901>Armed security at a "Luxury" apartment building in the city.Sounds comfy until you find someone ready to stab you>Is Spanish your native tongue, or is English?Neither, it's Italian. But I did learn English from native speakers at the end of the day. I consider myself bilingual as I've been learning English since I was 11, and I have the best certifications on the market as well as some experience. Sadly when it boils down to jobs natives are always the first in line even when their knowledge of grammar is poor. Also women are more likely to get hired because people think they can handle kids better. I've been struggling to find a position for months, but if I find it I might as well make sure I'm not replacing my family with another one from a different country.
>>82682970But not everything is lost. Standards in asian countries are usually lower and they might hire non-natives. I've heard of Slovakian anons teaching English in Thailand.
>>82682970>comfy until you find someone ready to stab youBetter than my last job, that's for sure.>>82683005Hopefully you find something good. Language teachers usually dig their jobs from what I hear
