why am i not passionate about anything? It's not being talentless which bothers and demoralizes me. It's that I dont seem to have the spark to become good at something.

1)your to comfortable
2)you lack vital energy (eg: if life was a video game you have low MP, also called mojo/prana/chi/elan Vitale, etc)
3)to autistic to care about shit normies care about

Because talent begets passion. People lie and say that you have to start out being shit and then slowly improve. Reality is that talented people will start something for the first time, really overperform at it, and then be lauded with praise. They get immediate feedback and dopamine, so they keep coming back to the well to get more. It's a constant positive feedback loop that motivates them.

Same reason why they burn out sometimes. The moment it gets a little challenging or difficult the dopamine dries up and they crash hard. It's the same chemical signals for all of us, some just get them at the start of a new endeavor, and it's usually because we're talented at the thing we are doing.

Is that Pokemon movie worth watching? I've always thought that Latias girl was cute.

Anyway, to answer your question, it's fine to be passionless. I think a lot of people are passionate about things merely due to proximity. Like, they had a good teacher for a certain subject, joined a club related to it, then went on to major in whatever that field was in college. If you don't fall into an ecosystem designed around art, math, tech, or whatever, it's normal you just don't gaf and play fortnite all day. If you're really bothered by it, just force yourself to do something over and over again until you're okay at it. You might not be passionate about it after but you'll at least have some skill.
