Original thread: >>82675499I'm an early to mid 20s NEET who has no talent, skills, a license or anything past a high school diploma. What are some relatively easy or laid-back jobs I can do?
>>82685733>What are some relatively easy or laid-back jobs I can do?It's not easy nor laid back, but it's great work if you have a rageboner to destroy and kill as much as possible.
>>82685733I do landscaping, it's pretty easy and laidback but I also don't give a fuck about anything so that's probanly why. Everyone else around me can look pretty stressed about whenever idk not my problem
>>82685733Join Air Force > Go to tons of medical/psych appointments > get medically discharged > enjoy a free $4k per month vet disability with no income cap whatsoever. Not doing this was by far the worst mistake of my entire life. You have no clue how absurdly helpful it is to get a free $4k each month plus be able to work wherever you want, or pursue online income, or whatever. You genuinely win the rat race. You can have a family, kids, future.
>>82685733>What are some relatively easy or laid-back jobs I can do?none, given your little resume you listed.the only jobs you will be able to get are working at a restaruant (working multiple positions, being a host, dish washer and waiter at the same time) which is pure torture for an autistic person and they WILL not train you and you WILL spill spaghetti both literally and metaphorically. i worked at a restaurant for a week and it was such hell i quit. FUCK it was terrible.if you don't work at a restaurant you will work at a grocery store. Grocery store is not an easy job. its retail + warehouse essentially. you will be pretending to work, walking around half the time while being the butt end of your co worker's jokes, if you have the misfortune of being a cashier you will screw up and it'll be torture.i worked at a grocery store and they forced me to be a cashier for a couple of weeks before taking me off it because of how terrible i was. it was the most humiliating and suicide inducing thing ever. i was relegated to this sort of utility clerk role where i pushed carts, bagged groceries and did a little bit of everything. i got kinda used to it before the store went under, i got let off then it closed 2 weeks later.a job is hell, and its not worth working full time unless you have a plan. i can barely tolerate 4 hours of working but i can do it. there. work for 4 hours at a grocery store, blow through your tendie buck paychecks on psych drugs and burgers and be mommy's hard working good boy.
you guys need to practice your social skills. im interviewing for my second remote six figure job. literally just lie about shit, exaggerate shit, its so easy
>>82685733>easy or laid-back jobs I can do?Unarmed security. Armed security if you get a CCW and a guard card. Depending where you are and who you work for you can expect anything from $12/hr to $20/hr to start.
>>82688032I tried to join the army once and i was too nervous to pee for the drug test super embarassing wanted to kms so badly.
>>82689142I joined the Air Force (I was a retard and didn't apply for disability, I'm now applying ten years later) and I genuinely thought I'd never pass the pee test. It is definitely difficult but if you drink a lot in advance, close your eyes and relax completely you can do it. It took me like a good 30+ seconds to relax enough to finally piss. It is incredibly difficult but you can sit back down and then go back up again to try a second time.
>>82689183I actually had to chase off a crackhead yesterday. Granted, I was happy to do it because I hate do-nothing jobs and have been stuck in the security sector for the last year sitting on my hands.
>>82685733>I'm an early to mid 20s NEETyou need to ceomax immediately
>>82689072>just lie about shit, exaggerate shit>its so easyIt's unironically difficult for autists like me.
>>82689180This makes me want to try again thanks anon. Despite the bullshit in the military doing medicine in the army or the navy is still is the only thing that has ever remotely interested me. Disability benefits whenever you get tired of the bullshit just seems an added bonus.
>>82689309>It's unironically difficult for autists like me.this book helped me alot when I was like 23 trying to be an adult and navigate the workplace.https://www.amazon.com/How-Win-Friends-Influence-People/dp/0671027034I read it cover to cover and it helped me understand how to be a well received person. Maybe just read the cliff notes
>>82689368I've listened to the audiobook when I was around the same age. I can have working relationships with people just fine. What I don't like is lying and exagerating. Selling myself is torture. There are people who came to me, an autist, with personal things they were going through specifically because they knew I would tell them the truth. Some people value it. Recruiters don't, sadly.
>>82689431when I look around all I see is exaggerations and things/people trying to sell themselves. think about it, we around surrounded by ads which decrepit their subject in its highest fasion. never once has my mcchicken looked like the one on the menu and the same is true for 90% of everything I buy.the same could be said about how women look online vs offline, it can be applied to many things. the point is, if you want to be successful, you have to disassociate and market yourself. remind yourself that your not the main character and nobody gives a shit about you. makes it easier
>>82685733security, particularly night shift security you basically do nothing except read or watch videos on your phone and once in a while you have to get up and walk around.you really should go to college or learn a trade though, working any easy minimum wage job is going to push you to suicide after a couple of years. there's a reason why all the normalfags go to college.
>>82689183Whyd you quit? I might do this. Im diagnosed schizo though, can I still?
>>82689507Trades are hell and tech is getting bent over by AI
>>82685733I posted in the last thread and said security, janitor, or warehouse. If you can work overnight as a security guard at a movie studio or at a warehouse then you'll just be checking people in for the first hour and the last hour, you walk around a bit, can listen to music all night, watch videos, jerk off if you're a pervert gooner who can't wait to get home, watch movies, do homework, and if you're lucky you get set up at a booth or office by yourself and get to use your phone all night. Get paid the same minimum for no work. Warehouses either work you like a dog or you babysit machines and get to take it a bit easier. Very few jobs are easy or laid back that pay well. You're not getting a 100k a year remote office job where you do nothing unless you know someone
>>82689491>when I look around all I see is exaggerations and things/people trying to sell themselvesThat's part of why I isolate myself so. I don't go out and don't even socialize online. Hadn't been on 4chan in a few years. No social media and I've drastically reduced YouTube as everything *is* basically an ad now. Videos barely have substances and are mostly an excuse to sell you something or just long enough for ad revenue. So, yeah... Idk why I can't just give up and sell out. My life is miserable and it would obviously be improved by doing so, but I have a massive mental block.
>>82689644>Trades are hellbetter than working retail till you're old>tech is getting bent over by AIevery career is getting fucked by AI and if not they're saturated to the brim, it's what you get for living in an overpopulated world. it's still not an excuse to do nothing and work shitty minimum wage jobs your whole life.
>>82689636>>82689824The interview I had for security I had an in because my cousin worked there but the interview was basic stuff like when can you begin, have you had a job before, what shift do you want? They don't give a fuck about you being schizo if you have no diagnosis or if you aren't giving off schizo vibes. As long as your schizoness isn't major and dangerous then you're good. You have single mothers, dropouts, and felons working security. It is a dead end job for the most part
>>82689824>couldn't you work on certain hobbies?Started the first couple chapters of War and Peace at work yesterday. Gonna try and hit a few more today. Used to work on D&D campaigns at work too, need to do some more but we haven't played in over a month
