>tfw learning life lessons in my 30s that other people learned from their parents 20 years ago
It really was over before it even began

What lessons are those so I can still learn em in my 20s
>>
70% of millennials did not survive the post pencil scene originality test.

Women never approach you and even if one is madly in love with you and masturbates thinking about you daily will likely never even once talk to you.
Also if you are just a little bit off that immidiately disappears and she treats you like you aren't even human.
>>
>>82689083
me after I rizz up the BPD hoe at work

The most basic things are like how to throw and kick a ball. The more complex things are most people get women because they have social circles and groups of friends and naturally get connected with women. Or how no one ever asks a girl to "be my girlfriend" or confess their love to them in a long love letter or text message when they've never even talked to them once. They literally socialize with them on a regular basis like they're regular people and then invite them to do something they already plans to do together or with friends. Or how girls that regularly go out of their way to talk to you and be nice to you are literally begging you to ask them out, they're not "just being nice". Or that attraction is pretty much instinctual. You can beat, rape, abuse women and they'll never leave you as long as they're attracted to you. And they're attracted to men who lead them like they're children. Don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of your theoretical kids. That includes crying, complaining, letting them make decisions. Sometimes you take their opinions and preferences into account so they don't bitch but that's it. So getting a mommy gf is literally impossible. The blackpill stuff is somewhat true, but normal women can only pick from their immediate vicinity and only from the people that ask them first, so they'll go with the best they think they can get. Of course tinder fucked alot of this up, for the most part it's how things work irl. There's probably hundreds of other things but looking back i think most other people knew this stuff in highschool
>>
>>82689083
This isn't exactly. Women are social creatures. Most likely if you see each other on a regular basis if she likes you she'll go out of her way to talk to you every chance she gets. She'll also at the minimum make eye contact and smile to give you the opportunity to talk to her. It's more or less the only way to know if she likes you or not
>>
>>82689143
I was in the student union with a woman who baked things for me and gave me massages out of nowhere and also smiled when talking to me.
SInce she was in a relationship already I just thought she was being nice to the lonely dude.
Then out of nowhere she completely ignored me and a few months later cheated on her fiance kek.
On the one hand I am miserable because she was pretty hot and now I am a kv in my early 30s.
On the other hand, she likely had BPD and would have cheated on me too, once a cheater always a cheater.
>>
>>82689189
On the other hand she was pretty hot and you would have got to fuck her. I've had a couple of women in my life that I've had the same experience with. They would all be really nice to me specifically and would come talk to me all the time. Having cripplingly low self esteem I just passed it off as them "just being nice" but in hindsight they couldn't have made it more obvious. The only time I realized was when all my co-workers wouldn't stop teasing me telling me she was in love with me that I finally realized what a stupid idiot I am. Monkey branching is also pretty common among women. They like a sense of security so they'll have something set up before they break off a relationship, pretty much all of them do it
>>
>>82689226
That's pretty dystopian to hear for anyone with any sense of morality.
>>
>>82689143
Also, talking to a woman in a classroom or at work is literally no different than talking to them on a date. You're just talk and sharing your personalities with each other in both cases. You can do everything exactly the same in both cases, it makes no difference where you are. Then you just ask them to do something specific with you outside of that, just like how you would ask a guy friend to do something. That's why having hobbies and doing things is actually important. Or having friends you go out with so you can easily invite the girl along.
>>
>>82689237
I'm not gonna say they all outright cheat before breaking off the relationship, but every single woman has an immediate back up plan ready and prepared in case things go south. That's just how it is. Morality was made by men to tame women
>>
>>82687887
never be mad at yourself for actually learning something. when i was 20, I noticed the slightly older friends getting married, having kids, starting their casual alcoholism and normie habits. Then I watched a decade pass as they all blew up. *Everyone* has to start over, usually more than once, and each time it happens you feel a little less clean, a little less trusting. I'd give anything to have some fragments of innocence back.
>>
>>82689226
I didn't bought it as anything but nice because I also was old (already 28/29) and got fat during Covid (I lifted weights so was more bear mode, but 120 kg is 120 kg and as a natural that isn't lean mass).
But now that I think of it, she was probably attracted to bigger dudes.

Same here, OP. Funny thing is, my parents are waiting until just now (mid-30s) to tell me shit like, "you need to be thinking about your future" and the importance of health/life insurance. Like, where the FUCK was all this when I was growing up? Oh right, yard work and Tyler Perry movies were more important and they thought the military was just going to do the 'heavy lifting' instead.
>>
>>82689143
I'm 30 and I had heard of or figured out all that already, but this was a neat way to put it:
>Don't do anything you wouldn't do in front of your theoretical kids.
And things like tinder really did change the game. The best time to be 20 was probably in the 90's.
>>
>>82689083
>>82689143
I thought you were gonna give life lessons.
I dont have any lessons to learn about women, Im ugly as sin lol.

Forgetting about women, what are the most important lessons you wish you learned in your 20s.
>>
>>82689083
>Women never approach you and even if one is madly in love with you and masturbates thinking about you daily will likely never even once talk to you.
Girls approach Chad. You're not approached because you're a low value expendable male that she can easily get by just waiting.
>>
>>82689286
>I'd give anything to have some fragments of innocence back.
lol dumbass, the entire point of life spiritually is to remain in total innocence for as long as you're here. what do you think sages in caves meditating 24/7 are doing? they are literally sitting in pure innocence. they are foregoing the clown costume they were given at birth and all of the bells and whistles we've accumulated throughout our life to just return over and over to that innocence. you can do the same exact thing as you fucking read this message, so maybe you should start returning as well instead of living your retarded lie like everyone else

The biological meaning of life is to reproduce. Life is empty and meaningless without a sense of love and family in your life, especially as you get older. It's why so many men commit suicide, they come to that realization. Everything else is a meme. Money, careers, useless stuff ... it's all just a pointless meme. It doesn't matter.
>>
>>82689430
Damn, you guys are in your 30s and dont have a single life lesson for me that doesnt involve roasties?
Fuck reproduction and romance, birth decided neither of those were for me.

Give me some gems that actually can help me each rotation on this floating rock.
>>
>>82689430
>The biological meaning of life is to reproduce
You might as well see yourself as a cell colony if you reduce life's meaning to that.
>>
>>82689430
>The biological meaning of life is to reproduce. Life is empty and meaningless without a sense of love and family in your life, especially as you get older.
Bullshit and easily disprovable. Its like you people never meet normal people who have all that and are still miserable. Life its always life, that's the truth. There is no one thing you do that makes it all okay.

A career in medicine is guaranteed job security. Even if the world ended you would still get employment. They even have tiers with basically every single level of wages and education. You can do a year of training and work in the hospital making low level wages doing easy peasy work to being a neurosurgeon working 100 hours a week with 20 years of education (do not redeem)

NTA, hopefully you'll know all of these too already, but I didn't know some of them until my mid-twenties, so...

This part might already be too late for you:
>look into the specific jobs you want to apply to before you pursue higher education
>do not rely on schools for your education, learn what you need on your own based off real-world needs
>use school mainly for networking as almost ALL entry-level job are insanely nepotic
>all this shit applies to tradeschool too. you need an apprenticeship and depending on where you live and who you know, you might have a major struggle finding a place willing to take you in

Financial stuff:
>invest in index funds, they're not flashy, but they beat out investor firms in the long run
>be very cautious every time you up your spendings/quality of life because you'll get used to it within a few months and going back to what you had before if you ever need to will be painful
>live frugally, you really don't need much, things like alcohol, tobacco, vaping, etc. add up real quick
>don't gamble, the house always wins
>don't buy on credit unless you absolute need to
>having one year of fuck you money allows you to negotiate harder on your salary next time you need a job

Basic general stuff:
>move your body
>have a stable sleep schedule
>sleep enough
>wear sunscreen
The last two will drastically change how much you'll age.

Basic stuff related to your environment:
>make your space your own
>changing all my furniture based on what I needed (I have three desks in an L shape, so a massive amount of working surface) was a game changer
>if you spend a lot of time on the computer, learn the shortcuts, write scripts (you don't need to be a really good programmer, just learn the basics and use ChatGPT). Autohotkey on Windows. Or just switch to Linux and enjoy the customizability. Things don't have to suck. Don't like something? Change it.
>building my own custom keyboard was a pain, but now it's a smooth and fun typing experience
>>
>>82689452
Continuation of >>82689564 because I ran out of space.

Last one is pick a skill you enjoy and get gud at it. Don't quit out of frustration. People keep saying this shit and it sounds so fake, but 15 min a day will make a massive difference over 10 years (you will often go over 15 min without having to force it). And once you're good good, you'll derive pleasure from being a master of your craft.
>>
>>82689571
Last addendum.
>live with your parents as long as you can
There's no shame in it. Fuck everyone that normalizes moving out as soon as possible.
>>
>>82689564
Agree with the first set. Most people who get good jobs and all the people in positions of power got there because they had connections and people like them. They pretend to be confident, usually over confident, but not only are they not the best people at what they do, they're usually THE WORST at what they do and they spend all their time networking instead of actually working and becoming good. Fucking pieces of garbage I hope they all fucking die

>don't buy on credit unless you absolute need to
I buy everything with credit cards and have them set to auto pay full amount each month. Your debit card offers little to no protection if it gets stolen or there's a dispute. Your bank will not help you because the physical cash has already left your account. I've called my credit card company months later to dispute a charge and they immediately gave me back the credit with no fuss. You absolutely will need credit history to buy a house or even rent.

Also, I don't recommend buying a used car. You have no idea what the previous people were like. Some of these assholes drive 50,000 miles without a single oil change and pawn it off to the first sucker they find. You won't know until your engine blows up a month later. Buy a new honda, toyota, or even mazda and haggle the dealer down about 10% the MSRP and the car will last you a lifetime if you take care of it
>>
>>82689564
Thanks anon. I have a bunch of money sitting right now that Im scared to put in an index cuz I dunno when/if those tariffs are gonna crash the economy. Should I pull the trigger anyways?
>>
>>82689640
I fully agree on the credit part. I badly phrased my point. I meant don't buy with credit if you don't already have the money to pay it back. Building good credit is really important, so good point.

I've never owned a car (I live in a big non-American city), but I always thought I'd buy a pos car since it's cheaper and you don't have to worry about scratching it or having it stolen as much. Will keep your advice in mind if/when I get to the point of buying one.
>>
>>82689656
The economy will eventually recover if it dips. Index funds are about the long term, not getting rich quickly. In this sense, staying invested beats out worrying over the right time to go in and out. You can always invest in separate amounts spaced out over time to mitigate the risk. That'll be better than just letting all that money sit there and dilapidate to inflation.

I'm not a financial expert and if you have a lot of money just waiting, it's obviously worth looking more into it. Like, spend a few hours every week reasearching it. That is also an investment.

Sorry for not being super helpful.
>>
>>82689754
Nah man, that was exactly what I needed to hear. Ill put some in stock later today.
I had been sitting on some cash but I think I should just do what you said invest it spread out over time just so I keep a good emergency fund
>>
>>82689564
None of this shit works for us incels.
>Just be confident bro
>>
>>82689895
NTA but wtf are you talking about retard?
Im an incel and a lot of that stuff is/was helpful for me.

None of that has to do with being unattractive to women. It has nothing to do with women. Period.
Even when Im horny and wish I were good looking enough to be worth a date I wouldnt stoop to your level of shoehorning blackpill shit into everything
>>
>>82689143
This is actually a great post.
>The blackpill stuff is somewhat true
It is if the guy is a little fag
>>
>>82689987
The blackpill is always true.
You just dont experience the short end of it because you're not ugly
>>
>>82689143
Long story short, human mating is not random. Unlike other non-human animals, you don't randomly show a courtship display to atrract the opposite sex. Imagine confessing a love to woman that you never socialize with, it just gives them creep. The best way to increase your luck is to improve social skills and mantain body odor (this one is important).
>>
>>82689430
>Life is empty and meaningless without a sense of love and family in your life
maybe if you're a faggot
>>
>>82689987
>>82690116
The blackpill is true in the sense that almost every woman does want 6'5", roided out, chiseled god giga chad. But in a normal functioning society, if you never meet a giga chad, then you're left to choose between the 10 guys around you that you see on a regular basis. And then you might be left to pick between the two guys that actually talk to and ask you out. Even if a giga chad is available, if he never gives you attention and has a giga stacey, you're again stuck with the remaining choices that choose you. And the same way most anons don't think they're good enough for any woman, most woman don't feel good enough for giga chad. They know he has options and will probably leave them, but they still might end up with his kid. This is why tinder and feminazis really ruined women and dating to a large degree. Every woman now can connect with every woman in the entire world and all the attention makes them feel like maybe they really all do deserve giga chad
