What the fuck happened to telling people to grow a thicker fucking skin? We went from a society that was reasonably modest and traditional to whatever the fuck this shit is. Everyone is coddled and no one is expected to fend for themselves. Especially with this pathologize-everything shit that's just another fixture of the Liberal Mental Health Echo Chamber(tm) (LMHEC). What the fuck caused this?

Yup, race to the bottom with everyone doing everything they can to suck resources from each other, from rent, to social control, to just about everything. It must have a government rule slapped onto it just to piss someone off

cope.

hard times sometimes breaks people, sometimes hard times kills millions of people, the few that remain are traumatized and will never live normal lives again.

We don't even know what "good times" really are yet. People voted for better lives in the 1940s and got it, but they forgot to tell the generations after them why they did that and why it was so important. So we have to relearn the lesson.

Just pull yourself up by your bootstraps nigga. If you're homeless then buy a house and if you're poor then just get a job.
