I have met men who love their wives and speak only positively of them, but they are always very religious and their wives very submissive
Essentially for survival it is far more important for us to react to correct negative outcomes than it is to reinforce positive ones. If it was not for this bias we could not survive and would not exist. It is an inescapable state of being emergent from existence itself.

my ex common law wife is incredible at music and painting, and very funny. shes still my girlfriend we just moved states and the new state doesnt recognize common law marriage. my only complaint is she isnt good at realizing when shes hungry or hot or otherwise uncomfortable until shes already irritable, and weirdly she doesnt rest when shes sick, she gets annoyed about being sick and tries to clean the house and do other work and gets worse unless i make her go to bed and stay there. its pretty exhausting when that happens. but she is basically a genius and considering that its not much of a foible.
also she cooks too much delicious food and gains weight and gets mad about it but thats more of a comic situation than something to complain about. as a guy my metabolism is higher so i'm living fine and trim.
