I have some questions for the neets.
Do you avoid slice of life stories?
Do you prefer serial stories over episodic?
Do you find yourself bingeing stories?
Do you have no motivation to do anything?

The answers are all yes for me.
I want to know how much of this comes from me being a neet.

Yes
I don't know the difference
Yes
Yes

Anything with romance or love just hurts.

no, i love slice of life stories. i watch anime tho, i guess i like that at least in there the world can be ok.
i dont care if its serial or episodic i hardly pay attention. have tv on just about all day but rarely actually focus on it.
yes i binge but again dont pay full attention
i had no motivation for the last 7 years of neeting. now im kinda sick of it for the first time but i have no hope so that translates to low motivation

that being said i became a neet because of trauma and bad life experiences, so it has a lot more to do with that for me

>I don't know the difference
With episodic, you don't need to see all the previous episode. With serial you do otherwise you're gonna feel lost.
In episodic, each episode has it's own isolated plot, while serial focuses on developing a plot that spans the series.

Hate slice of life, makes me feel like shit

I suppose I like both, not sure I prefer one over the other.

>Do you avoid slice of life stories?
Not really. They can be pretty good.
>Do you prefer serial stories over episodic?
I like both.
>Do you find yourself bingeing stories?
Not really. I don't watch TV or film back to back.
>Do you have no motivation to do anything?
Oh, fuck yeah.

>i love slice of life stories
Nothing happens in these stories, it's boring.
Nothing happens in my life. My life is empty.
The stories I read are likely a substitute.

>i hardly pay attention. have tv on just about all day but rarely actually focus on it.
>dont pay full attention
It's strange, you don't care for what happens?
Do you do something else in your life, or do you just take in the world of the story your viewing?

What's your reason for reading/watching stories?
What do you do when your not doing so?
>>
>>82693050
no not really, its all background noise to me i guess. sometimes i do just watch. sometimes i play a game at the same time. yesterday i spent like 2 hours just watching the rain and standing in it for brief periods, kept thinking "should i turn on the tv" but never did until it had been hours

I barely read fiction anymore.
>Do you have no motivation to do anything?
yes

So you'd binge an episodic story?
Bingeing seems like a way to escape and immerse yourself. But Nothing really changes in an episodic story.
You're okay with that?

What do you do instead then?
How do you escape your life?

>What's your reason for reading/watching stories?
A distraction when I eat. Usually a TV episode or a film. Sometimes just YT.
After reading a lot of books as a kid, I got burnt out and can no longer do it. Though I can read Wiki for hours sometimes.
>What do you do when your not doing so?
I LDAR on the laptop all day. After a couple of hours of vidya in the morning. I start with the beer in the afternoon.
