You can cheat and have connections and trust me, you will pass.And my friend once got me a freelance job fixing one of his acquaintances' website. I'm not even a programmer but I did some HTML/CSS in university. So after the job was done and I got paid, I was told I did a much better/faster job than the indian "programmers" that person usually hired. I saw the resume of one of those indians and it looked as if he was some smartass aiming to work at Google. The reality was that he was shit, but he still made money and worked at some Indian software company.I think hard work and knowing how to google stuff is much more of the equation than high IQ. I am high IQ and have "coded" myself small windows scripts to automate stuff. It's not difficul but I wouldn't like to be doing it as a job. Chose electrical engineering instead and glad I did.
