Do animals have souls? Or 3/5 of a soul?
>>82751562animals are sentient and concious. they can feel pain and experience pleasure no different than humans canthey're just less intelligent than humans, and dont really understand the concept of "themselves", so they dont understand its them in the mirror, for examplebut they are fully sentient
>>82751562No one has soul but I'm trying to become vegetarian. I used to get mad at them/vegans when I was younger like many others. People hate how condescending they appear, but I think it's the right thing. I won't be a jerk about it though and would probably still eat meat if presented because it would be a complete waste otherwise.
I buried my dog an hour ago. It was horrifying.
>>82751562Animals can be wonderful but they don't have souls, only people do.
>>82752064sorry to hear that. RIP anons dog
>>82751562no. housecats are especially hylic and should be wiped out.
>>82751562animals have souls by default. humans have to earn them, and they can be lost and regained over time.
>>82751562the concept of a soul is just an abstraction, but youd have to be an absolute moron to believe that other mammals dont have emotions just as we do. the main difference besides intelligence is probably the inability of the mentalisation process, but that holds true for many humans as well
