How do you go from consuming to creating?
You just do it. And be consistent with it

>>82873142Try learning how to create different types of things until you find one that feels intuitive for your personal talents.
I am trying to adopt creative hobbies. But man, I am not a creative person. I've tried writing, drawing, painting, game dev and found that I'm terrible at all of them and have no ideas worth expressing.Nothing increases my self loathing quite like staring at a blank page.
>>82873142Relentlessly practice.
>>82873407Have you tried looking into the technical rather than creative side of any of them? Maybe you're just more mechanical minded.
>>82873142It helps to think about how you'd like to see X thing but different. Play around with how you'd modify existing things.
I don't know. I try my best to be as productive as possible, but every day I feel like I did too little active stuff and too much passive stuff (consuming instead of creating). Since I'm a person who falls into extremes easily, I fell into the trap of not allowing myself any consumption of any media whatsoever that wasn't for increasing my productivity. Obviously that was retarded. Create more than you consume, but you gotta consume in moderation to stay inspired and to rest.
>>82873407you missed music, maybe try that?
>>82873447I've tried and failed to teach myself guitar on several occasions. More generally, it requires an investment in an instrument and practice space that isn't really feasible in my current living space.>>82873426Explain. What do you mean by the technical side?
>>82873407>I... I need to be le original! No you don't, just copy what other people are doing.
>>82873142By realizing getting all anime figs you like would cost you fortune.
>>82873142you buy the necessary tools and you start by doing it wrong
