its actually a great book and will make you a lot more likeable to normalags. I swear this book could get you 1/4 the way to marriage. Obviously there are other things to learn to be charismatic but this book will get you a huge head start.

But really, I think a lot of your problems would end if you spent a fraction of the time you spend on 4chan just studying charisma like an alien trying to learn how to fit in.

Any other good recommendations for learning to become charismatic?

Why don't you suck a barrel of dicks with this just world theory gibberish

I had a faggot beta professor in college that was obsessed with books like this, what color is your parachute, and toastmasters. He was a fugly bald lanklet and his whole persona was so fake listening to him for more than 20 minutes would give me fucking headaches. He tried to make us do "experiences" like dances or raps instead of written reports. I dropped the fucking class and wrote him a horrible review to the college and took the course with a better professor.

>just world
Where did I ever say this? Why is your initial reaction to get triggered and angry at even the suggestion that anons try to improve their lot in life?

I'm still a complete NEET loser but this book has improved my relationship with my parents and family a lot.

I am already very good at manipulating people, I really don't like doing it though. I'll pass. At the end of the day my personality hard filters people I wouldn't want to spend time with anyways.
>>
>>82873284
Thats why I said it could get you 1/4 of the way there. Its not perfect, you'll probably have to have lots of experience to be actually charismatic but its a good start to not being unapproachable

I'm very polite and good at talking to people, but my appearance and scarring cause them to cross the street. I'm very tall, and rather, if I do say so myself, well built, so people get freaked out. I also have a jacket fitted with metal plating and the noise of them clanking together sometimes catches attention.

OK who got arrested this time?

ngl, this is literally the most useful book I've ever read, and I've read a lot of philosophy and literature. It's literally just the most basic, simple, but effective social advice possible. When I started using it, it literally changed my life. I'm on the very shallow end of the autism spectrum - diagnosed PDD-NOS back when that was still a thing (PDD-NOS is "subthreshold autism," basically meaning I didn't have enough symptoms to be diagnosed autistic, but had some issues).

>>82873264
none of this is word theory, and it isn't an academic book at all. It's literally really simple advice.

>>82873284
This has nothing to do with personality typing nonsense. It's literally explicit advice on how to make people like you more, how to make people feel heard, etc.

>>82873320
This isn't about manipulating people in any bad way though. It literally just made me better at expressing my interest in people, and made me more effective socially. If I dislike someone I still can't hide it, but where this came in handy was expressing what I want in positive interactions with people

i remember reading through the first 10 or so pages of that book and it was so bad
just be nice to people, just be confident, just remember hecking wholesome facts about others!
nigga i don't want to do that, i hate people like that, fuck you

>have to put on mask 24/7 anyway
>if you try 1% less peoples brains will scream something is off
>everything falls apart
why bother

The references in the book are extremely dated. As in mid-20th century boomer era dated, and this was after the latest revision to make the case studies more modern. It would fall flat on most millennials and nearly all zoomers. Hell, even I had to look up a few of the people mentioned since they were treated like a pop culture element everyone "just knew" so very little exposition providing necessary context was involved, which would make the average reader treat them like a fictional character, which doesn't have nearly as much psychological impact.

>dude, just learn how to become a complete fake and a phony, just deceive people and put on an act for the rest of your life lol
no, thanks

>I hate people who listen to me and care enough about me to remember things I've said in the past
kek, you're lying. Every post on 4chan you make is a cry for help, a cry for someone to listen to you.
>>
>>82873674
>put on a mask
No, you just have to be more conscious.

I haven't read it in a while and I'm about to listen to the audio book again. Its not something you can read once and improve your life forever. Its more like something that should be considered in the back of your mind whenever you're interacting with someone.

You probably do it too. IRL I don't you use terms like normalfag or nigger. Its kind of the same concept.
>>
>>82873750
>No, you just have to be more conscious.
lol anything more than half of minimum effort is too much for the hopeless retards on this site.
>>
>>82873750
>you just have to be more conscious
do I have to do that before or after my 3rd shower?
>>
>>82873715
no idiot i post on 4chan because i assume anyone who posts here does and says whatever the fuck they feel like so if someone replies to me it means they actually want to talk about something. which is the very opposite of being a fake fuck trying to manipulate everyone around you.

I refuse to sell my personality and autonomy. I hate the antichrist
