It must be very nice majoring in Philosophy or Classical Languages. You can just go to a modern Greek or Italian and say:>hey man, I know your nation's language better than you! And start reading Ancient Greek or Latin because you know a more robust logic, certains signals of breathing (in Greek), the origin/radical of certain words and whatever more the differences are. Or you could pursue some studies on Philosophy or Western Languages and be able to read Middle German, Dutch or French and Old English and thee wylt specan on Eald Englisc, as a knight or something. Or you could learn Phoenician and learn the fucking roots of the whole western writing system.Languages studies is super cool and thee have to acknowledge that.
