I can't describe the utter disbelief when I was on work break in a foreign country, I was drinking a coffee outside, and a woman made eye-contact with me from across a street, then waved, and so I approached and she actually talked to me positively.Like, I come from a minority-ethnic ruled state where it's an open air prison for the normal majority population and everything down to how many breaths we take are regulated. I am amazed we are still allowed to even see what it's like in other countries. For dating and marriage if you don't get lucky in your first 22 years of life, you have to do this fucking abysmal LinkedIn-style mass application to women's recruiting pages on "Hinge" or "Bumble" or "Tinder" etc etc.
