I was told all my life that I was mommy's special little genius boy who could do anything I wanted. People spent all of school calling me a retard, but also getting upset if I didn't want to do the 'hard path' and go to uni and take all the high level courses. I'm 25 and people are still on my heels about 'stop wasting your time!' 'go to university!' 'omg you're so smart!' and it's all just so tiresome. Do people really believe this like this? That anyone can be anything if they just try aww. Or is it just more bullying? Are they just wanting to watch me fail so they can laugh at me and mock me? I know my place in society, and it isn't at uni or in any sort of 'smart' job. My place is in the lower class.
