Most rap music is so corny. Why is it popular?
>>82881039I don't like rapping as a vocal style, but some oldschool rap could be kinda cool due to the creative beats, catchy bassline and nice synth melodies. That modern crap where it's just a hi-hat going click-click-clickity while a guy talks about how he has a lot of dollars in the bank and a very large penis though? No fucking clue about the appeal.
>>82881039Human brains are degenerating and their standards have been lowered that if it has an interesting jungle beat they will dance to it like monkeys. This is why rap is predominant nigger music
hip hop is the dominant form of music because it resonates with people in our current time.>built on sampling older material, just like how everyone is obsessed with the past and nothing is new anymore>explicit lyrical content about poverty, luxury, sex, violence, things that are exciting to the majority of people for some reason or another.yeah a lot of it really sucks, but it's easy to see why it's popular. it's like another symptom of our collective sickness.
>>82881039pushed hard into popularity by you know who
It's a low IQ genre pushed to make the general population even more retarded than usual
>>82881109>>82881039Rap is not corny. It is just "Rhymes And Poetry" -> Abreviated it's called rap.Rap is a medium for expression It's not cringe. Many songs are very profound. Examples below. CIA probably did some things to make rap less productive and positive, but when you listen to old school rap, they are undoubtedly political and poetic.

>>82881066it kinda fell off yeah. Oh well
>>82881066>>82881266Some old stuff is good and good stuff is still being made. But the vast majority of popular stuff on the charts is extremely corny to me as it's just bragging about doing dumb shit.I don't get why people want to hear another guy bragging about the money he makes or the bitches he fucks or the drugs he's doing. No other way to describe that than corny.
>>82881308Also the whole constant rhyming thing is kinda lame desu.
>>82881308Agreed but with the caveat that mainstream pop music is almost always trash anyway.
Modern music is trash, that's why I stick to videogame OSTshttps://youtu.be/E39tgN80xp4
Rap can be sort of an edgy form of poetry. But the niggerbabble that is the most popular form of rap is just that, niggerbabble.
>>82881039Same reason punk got big, you can get away with uninspired composition if you larp as a rebel
>>82881315>>82881308>>82881398just take a listen dudeshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSJeHDlhYlsor thishttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J87pJrxvJ5E
>>82881398it's called mumble rap. Travis, 21, quavo ect...thats usually only for vibes. Some songs are actually too vibey. Usually memphis rap. But the lyrics are ahh
The pernicious and methodical niggerfication of society simple as
>>82881039Because it's made almost exclusively by black men. You fail to realize how much Niggers are actually worshipped
>>82881039Basically jews push it and own most of the music lables.
I listen to Eminem like a normie wigger, it's neat one of the top selling artists just really genuinely hated women.
>>82881471Wiggers love eminem because he emulates rap, but without compromising racial identity. Rap was never for blacks. It was for the struggling. Eminem was white trash, the withe equivalent of poor ghetto blacks. He could make white listeners connect to the struggle, even though they are not black.Whn white people say Eminem is the goat, it kinda warms my heart. They know the struggle of being lower class, but they are too jaded to see it from a non-racepilled perspective
rap is cool if its cute japanese girlshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CkTLq8kOf7g

People who enjoy pop music without thinking too deeply about it like vocalists, image, and personality most of all. They like a danceable beat, and they only want to hear the chorus, considering everything else boring.Hip Hop is literally about a fashionable personality saying provocative things over a beat, with the catchiest part of a chorus sampled over and over. It's literally tailor-made for the unthinking masses. There are some true artists who use that deconstructionist approach to music to do truly experimental things (Danny Brown, Ho99o9, Tricky), or use the format to construct a visionary artistic world (Tyler the Creator, MF DOOM, OutKast), or who are true poets (Aesop Rock, Lauryn Hill). However, they're the exception that elevates hip hop. In general, it's "music" for the lowest common denominator.
>>82881039Because rap is the only acceptable outlet for men to express and connect with their masculinity without pushback from the current establishment.
>>82883458I prefer black metal
>>82881039>why are a certain long nose people pushing low iq babble
