i got a 50% (autograded) on the first portion and decided it wasn't worth trying the second part after looking at a few questions. professor even asked me where i was going and i was like "eh i did good enough". i feel awful because my parents are paying for this shit (though it is a community college) but yeah i'm not cut out for this.what should i do now? do i just kill myself? i mean my fucking sister has a bachelor's degree and can't seem to find a job in nursing, i don't see any point in trying further.
>>82881579>do i just kill myself? If you want to. Decide that for yourself or flip a coin
>>82881579I dropped out of uni due to being depressed and unmotivated and it was a shit idea. I wish I had a degree. Go solve your issues whether it's mental health or attitude or whatever.
You can withdraw for the W grade and just retake, but this seems like one of those fake spammy sissy posts anyways
>she can't find a job in nursingHow? I know you have to make good grades but if she graduated what's the problem? Can't pass a drug test? Also I had many experiences like that in college OP, one time I walked in and forget an entire 300 question multiple choice exam was due at the beginning of class so I ran to the bathroom and filled it out randomly. Still graduated, shit happens
>>82881593will consider>>82881600i dont even want this stupid fucking networking degree, i hate working with computers and my parents forced me to do this otherwise they'd kick me out. i want to do agriculture or become a mechanic, something with more hands-on stuff since i'm retarded (IQ tested at 95 by a psychologist)>>82881642i think it's too late to do that now, ill have to check though>>82881678she's applied to 30+ jobs and hasn't heard back from any of them, i guess they just don't like people with no experience. same thing happened to my friend in high school just trying to work at the grocery store, he only got the job because of luck.i think they're hiring h1bs now i guess
>>82881726look into career colleges. at the worst if your family doesn't approve, alot of them have pretty good financial aid. if you live in trumpland, make your decision sooner than later on what you want to do.
>>82881726Mechanic is shit. Shit job market and pay. Do electrician or construction or HVAC
>>82881759>HVAChonestly even this highly depends on your local market/scene. I live in the middle of a desert where HVAC is highly necessary, but the worker pay and the accessibility for apprentices and new grads are both shit. your seniors will also very actively gatekeep and make your job harder.
back again sorry i had a little breakdown>>82881750unfortunate since i live in a deep red state. all i really care about is doing a career that requires me to be out in the field and working with physical stuff, just something that isn't all white collar. i don't want to be rich - i just want a life that isn't a complete mess. i don't have high standards for myself. i do have a diploma and a car though.>>82881759noted. i was mainly thinking about working with heavy machinery like diesel trucks and tractors/combines/agricultural stuff but yeah that's pretty niche.>>82882323im in TX, it's a mixed bag i think
