Having a job like mine where I literally do nothing (seriously, 8 hours WFM just doing nothing today) sucks. Reason being is because it means I'm not gaining any experience, I'm not learning, and my earning potential isn't going up. If I want to improve my life I have to self study new skills in my own time anyway which is way less valuable to future employers than on the job experience. It's fucking hell and a huge trap
I had a job like that for a while. Started writing movie scripts

>>82885318what "skills" are you going to learn? are you going to start a business? if not then nothing you teach yourself is of any value to your employer.
