Would you date a girl that wears gloves when she handles keys, because she can't stand stinky key fingers? She would also insist that you do the same.

Also please no off colour jokes about smelly fingers.

I wouldn't wear the gloves but I compulsively wash my hands and have a small alcohol bottle so I can keep my hands clean at all times when outside.
And yes I would date someone who wears gloves when handling keys.
>>
My wife makes me open doors for her because she thinks touching doorknobs is gross.
>>

that is... very specific, i'd have no problem with her using gloves but i would not comply to her request
>>
i bet for whatever weird contact anxiety/germophobia you have, you have a bunch of blind spots that would bother ME.

t. sometimes doesn't wash hands after peeing, but does after touching every different ingredient while cooking
>>
>>82888338
it's just the smell
>>
I know my way around people on the higher end of the spectrum. But I prefer to avoid the circumstances that lead me to be in their presence as I am in no way a professional.
My go-to strat is to humor their quirks as long as its not harmful and within reason. If my date had this sort of thing going on with her I would find a way to work around that
>>
Imagine tieing her up and rubbing keys all over her
>>
>>82888269
Yes.
I won't do the same, but I will get keys with plastic covers for the part you handle them by, and make sure to handle them only by that part. Would that be an acceptable compromise?

>>82888370
Fffff- don't tempt me, I'm trying to leave the sadist in me in the past.
>>
>>82888269
I would buy her scented hand sanitizers so she would never smell the key smell
>>
>>82888269
would it be acceptable to spread gel alcohol over my hands after handling them instead?
also my keychain is an important memento so between her and the keychain, guess who's going out
>>
>>82888327
She is right. They are very gross.
>>
I don't think that's a big problem. I would just scrub them down with a degreaser, then wipe them down with some of my gun oil litghtly afterward it'd be nice to have someone with a consistent gage of this is too oily. Give me an excuse to clean my guns too, and their too oily opinion is probably how much less you should use on plastic parts.

*gauge
I mean it makes more sense if you can go off their sensibilities since they're gonna complain if dirt is still on it, but it's too oily it could make it slippery if you're not using gloves.
