how many of my fellow zoomer were left leaning / advocating for progressive causes in 2020 but has since shifted more conservative / apolitical?i mean i was a teen so i just gobbled up everything everyone told me and then i realized things are much more complicated and don't all have a definite answer. and i also realized sometimes leftists could be major dumbasses.
I'm still just as leftist as I ever was. But women have become so paranoid about "performative leftists" (while tolerating right wing bullshit from chads) that IRL j I pretend to be apolitical/vaguely libertarian in order to come off as more "harmless" to women since if I express my truly held beliefs, they'll think I'm just lying in order to have sex with them

I didn't know anything at all about politics until 2015, but before then I had libtarded tendencies. In 2016 I adopted some very conservative views and got obsessed with politics. In 2020 I realized politics is a total waste of time and energy. Focusing on politics can only make your life worse because we have no power over any political outcomes. Violence is the only way to bring about the changes we need, but no one is willing to do that these days. Being invested in politics is as pointless as being invested in sports
I used to be a standard centre-left Euro SocDem Catholic like most of my family and first girlfriend and now I'm a Gnostic Calvinist capitalist.I don't care if people are progressive or conservative but if you're not religious I don't trust you. But a lot of people are unaware of their own sectarian zealotry.
