hi again.

the problem isn't simply that i don't own a Micromoog or miniKORG. (or even an Alesis Micron). the problem is my parents didn't buy me one during my formative/teenage years. i could have been a techno maestro, or i could have been terrible, but what they were REALLY saying is "we do not love you."

Hello anon. Well, they do seem like they could have purchased less alcohol and bought you one. I do think that is a sad story. But what is stopping you from making music now?

I agree. Resonance curves are more interesting than 99% of anything people talk about

While it's true that music is what I enjoy the most I don't want to git gud at it because I enjoy being a pleb and enjoying the mystique of it, I don't want to ruin the magic or become disillusioned. Nearly everyone who is proficient at music (at least classical instruments) has extremely terrible taste in music and I'm afraid of becoming like them.
