Drinking only enhances positive emotions for me so I constantly have alcohol in my system to cope with boredom or just have more fun with my free time. If you really want to quit you will I guess. I did that for weed because I I just got tired of how much it fucked with my mental state in ways I didn't like but alcohol is a whole different demon and idk how to conquer it either.

Replace that activity with another one. Frankly jacking off is probably better for you than drinking. Make yourself tea sometime. You deserve it. Drinking is "fun" but it's not good to you. Be better to yourself, not because you feel you need to, but because you deserve it
