If the Buddhists are right and each life shapes the quality of your next one through karma and rebirth, then it's pretty clear we've all failed miserably in every life we've been given, and now we're failing this one too

good thing buddhists are retarded

I don't know why people always forget about naraka.
>>

the thing is there is no good/bad. it's all just circumstance, and karma, at least in the way buddhists describe it, is just a cause+effect cycle. you rob a bank and get caught and because it's against the law to rob banks you spend the next ten years in prison. that's circumstance. people seem to think karma is this cosmic reward system when really it's all about cause and effect.

It doesn't really matter though because Naraka isn't eternal. Once the karma that landed you there runs out, you get reborn somewhere else. Karma and rebirth cover everything

There's another form of Buddhism that rejects reincarnation because it's another form of ultimate ego mastrubating.

There's no reincarnation

>if
why can't they be right and wrong at the same time
I genuinely believe in that Planescape: Torment belief system where you'll go to whatever place you believe in

that's why you won't make the dumb mistake of committing one of the five grave offenses but someone else will, or just below the five
>>
Not all Buddhism believes in rebirth/reincarnation. The original Buddhism didn't, iirc.

that's the stupidest fucking thing i've ever read on this entire website, please leave and just fuck off entirely

what's with all the Ellie posting lately?

I would very much like to have sex with Ellie. I image that she would be very timid on account of her professed lesbianism. Maybe she wouldn't, and would instead put on a brave face and dive into it, eager to prove that she's not the type to get worked up over these things. Whatever the case may be, I imagine that it would be a heavenly experience, even though in all likelihood my performance would be lacking on account of my inexperience. I'd try my best to make the experience as accommodating for her as possible - ample washing and grooming beforehand, reassuring her, and perhaps even performing cunnilingus even though I find the act utterly repulsive. All in all, this is a major goal of mine, in fact it's really the only thing that drives me to keep going. Not sure about Buddha.

You can actually earn naraka for many sins including theft or homosexuality, although it differs between specific sects. In Mahayana, it is understood that doing the ghay results in unfathomable tortures.
Interestingly, the wikipedia article for naraka avoids saying this an ignores the reputable Matsunaga source solely for this one statement:
>Another hell is the Region of Many Suffering and Anguish where men who committed homosexual rape are reborn. These men are embraced by figures of the people who they molested. After being incinerated in this manner, they revive and in fear they attempt to flee just to fall off a cliff, ending up being consumed by birds with flaming beaks and foxes.
Both names (Hell of Many Pains and Region of Many Suffering and Anguish are translations of the same). See pic related for the source the Wikipedia article avoids quoting for this one passage despite quoting Matsunaga right before and after.

Anyway there's a lot you can do to be tormented for unfathomable times.

Hell has been with Buddhism since the very beginning of its organization as a religion.
