There is no incentive to try when you're autistic.
People hate who you are on a fundamental level, and unless you want to go through the effort to fake your entire personality (which makes you feel terrible) while also balancing all your other responsibilities, a lot of doors are closed for you.
If you decide to get a job that doesn't require people to like you, you'll still go through most of life either alone or with terrible people that will make you feel just as bad, what incentive is there to try?
Even if you're passionate about something, there's always people that are better at it, there's always people that are more gifted, there's always people that are more supported, where's the incentive?
and if you try going for the NEET route, it still doesn't matter, your parents will either start resenting you, and even if they don't, they can't live forever, and will also die one day, what then?
life is about one thing, and that thing is not being born with autism.
Imagine getting one chance at life, and you're born with the fucking curse of being a tard, not a likeable tard, not a tard that can't comprehend how bad everything is, you're a tard aware of how bad your predicament is.

Not true, but at the same time it's weirdly true.

At least the first part, idc enough to read the entire thing. I've tried being nice to autistic people and even being patient with them when you're weird or awkward or just don't understand what they're doing wrong. But the problem is that a lot of autistic people are complete shitbags. Like so many autistic people just act like psychopaths and wallow in their own self pity, they will hide behind any excuse they can to not take personal accountability and are always happy to fuck you over if it suits their interests.

It's not your fault as an individual that you don't fully grasp things and can be hard to deal with for things beyond your control, but as a person, if the best thing to come out of our interactions is a kind of shitty friend and the worst thing to come out of it is a psychotic stalker who starts shit with me over nothing alienates me to other friends discards me if I don't suit their needs and who will be an all around parasetic piece of shit who bullies me and then guilt trips me when I finally start to walk away.... Then what is even the point in being nice to you? I hate you because you're autistic. Not because I hate you as a person, but because I've dealt with enough people like you to know that you're not worth the risk.
(yes, I'm also very racist)
>>
>>82977989
I really can't read all that to be honest. Go watch some Alec O'Connor if you're having an existential crisis like this.
>>
>>82978043
You did not just describe an autistic person
>>
>>82978088
I described a summation of a lot of aspergers and autists I've interacted with irl. The real problem is that a lot of kids on the spectrum either have parents who give 0 fucks or care too much and protect their precious vulnerable baby from the cold mean world so hard the kid grows up thinking they're the greatest thing ever and nothing to do is bad because mommy and/or daddy mollycoddled the fuck out of them and were far too gentle when the kid acted like shit and never grew up. Autistic people can be extremely tyrannical if you give them the chance.

I mean... You sit there and scream about how normies are bad and mean and evil and deserve all the worst shit but I rarely see those people self reflecting or asking what they could do differently. Even OP is just wallowing in self pity and complaining about how it's not even worth trying.

The bitter reality is that when you're on the spectrum people feel more obligated to be kind to you than they do others. They're obligated to be more patient with you, they're obligated to give you more chances, they're obligated to be better to you than they are to others. But they're not obligated to tolerate an abusive manchild who screams at them and treats them like shit because they're in a little funk, or a woman who can't control her own feelings so she gets super clingy on you and acts like she wants sex but wigs out on you when you talk about sex.

The world doesn't owe you a God damn thing no matter where you place on the autism spectrum.
>>
>>82978177
That's cool and all but I'm not autistic, nice little sperg rant you just had there, though. Very cool. I'm guessing you were the first type of autist you described?
>>
>>82978177
>But they're not obligated to tolerate an abusive manchild who screams at them and treats them like shit because they're in a little funk, or a woman who can't control her own feelings so she gets super clingy on you and acts like she wants sex but wigs out on you when you talk about sex.
Also, again, retard: that is not autism, lmao. People with autism may do that shit but it's not necessarily autistic behavior. This is why you completely lack any credibility and should just stop talking.

It's quite terrible. My life has been filled with periods of emotional agony contrasted with severe burnout that left me bed ridden.
And to make it worse, one day I woke up and realized I am now 38 years old and my windows of opportunity are rapidly closing.
And it's not like I was lazy, I tried very hard, although during burnout periods I was usually a NEET.
The confusion of youth is compounded by the confusion of autism.

>>82978212
Huh... I guess this whole thread was ragebait. You got anything better than calling me a retard and going "nuh uh!!!"?
>>82978212
You're either butthurt or a mediocre troll. It is pretty common autistic behavior to act like a stuck up little dickhead and throw temper tantrums kind of like you are right now really... I literally voiced my opinion, you got buttmad, and are proceeding to sperg at me over nothing gg proving my point :3

I hate that had I not had trauma from bullying that caused me to be hyper-aware of what other people feel and what I think they need, I'd be one of your bad examples.
hell, I'm someone's bad example of autists anyways because of miscommunications.
>>
>>82978235
Girl, you just typed a whole ass essay that reeks of autism. Before you call anyone autistic maybe you should look in the mirror, because I am not the one throwing a fit right now
>>
>>82978250
I get that. I mean, we all have trauma, I'd go so far as to say that most ppl here have been bullied. The problem is that a lot of victims of bullying become bullies, whether they accept it or not. Yeah, the miscommunications are rough, I wish I had some positive thing to say other than the generic therapy speak, but hey. The fact that you can own it is a big thing. Maybe if you learn to relax more you'll find someone who gives you a chance and you can learn to control your emotions with them and just have a casual friend who gets you. You're not going to find that here though, I promise.

Haha nice argument, femoid. Sorry I'm not one of the people your kind exclusively fucks, although I'm sure you wish I was.
>>
>>82978321
I have an avoidant attachment style thanks to it so it checks out, I just avoid people since you can't fail socially if you don't have anything "social" happening in the first place.
>>
>>82978360
That's fair. You ever try to make friends with someone who's like you? I'm not sure how you'd meet someone like that, but obviously they're out there somewhere. I can imagine it's hard making friends but it's doable.
>>
>>82978383
That risks having something to lose.
I'm tired of losing things I care about, so the less I have, the less I can lose, if the end-result is me rotting in limbo, so be it.
>>
>>82978396
Hey, that's your choice and I respect it. Whatever you end up doing with your life, I respect it.
>>
>>82978345
I recognize your typing style btw. You're not as smart as you think.

But for teh lulz.
You keep insisting I'm a woman, you claim white women prefer bbc, and your arguement/trolling tactics are very passive aggressive.

You're trans-coded as fuck dawg.

It's not autism tho, is it? Look inside, it's narcissism and OP is projecting

I'm curious as to who I am in this person's mind, can I at least get a hint?

>People hate who you are on a fundamental level,
Not other autists.
>fake your entire personality (which makes you feel terrible)
To be fair, it's what everyone does. It only feels bad because you suck at it.
>If you decide to get a job
What do you mean "decide." You take whatever job you can get. Jobs are like women.
>Even if you're passionate about something, there's always people that are better at it,
What are you, Ash Ketchum? You know what? No. He still had a better attitude about it than you.
>there's always people that are more gifted,
So you will waste your gifts?
>there's always people that are more supported
So you will waste your support?
>where's the incentive?
Well, if you're passionate about it, and not being the very best at it, then the incentive is that you still get to do it.
>and if you try going for the NEET route, it still doesn't matter, your parents will either start resenting you, and even if they don't, they can't live forever, and will also die one day, what then?
You touch grass. I'm serious. Nature is cathartic.
>life is about one thing, and that thing is not being born with autism.
I know I'm biased here, because I have autism and recieve a lot of support, but you can find a way around it, and once you do people treat you normally. The biggest thing to fix is your vagal tone.

What makes being autistic so hard isn't the lack of social skills, because those can be improved with practice. It's not being able to handle sensations making it impossible to experiment or improve or challenge your beliefs.

You need to do what you can to help your body digest senses better. That means taking cold showers, exercising, sqaure breathing, and exposure to stress. You know it's working after you stop feeling so sensitive.
>>82978177
>when you're on the spectrum people feel more obligated to be kind to you
If you're visibly autistic, sure.
>They're obligated to be more patient with you
Even so, they won't be if it's not visible.

anon, im gonna tell you this because i am also autistic and used to be in a similar predicament as you

for the most part, we're good at analytical thinking especially when it comes to things we are autistically obsessed over. what you need to do is firstly, stop thinking there is a barrier between you and normies, as cliche as it sounds, it only exists because you allow it to. we can function way better than normies socially if most of us stopped making this nonexistent barrier. secondly, get autistically obsessed with something that has real world value, good or bad. i assume most people on this board do not really give a shit about what happens in their life unless they had a warm piece of pussy to stick their dick into, so autistically obsess on that. obsess over masking, obsess over sex, obsess over improving your appearance and social skills. learn your environment's social structure and play accordingly. if you don't wanna do that, obsess over academics, your special interests, anything else. it really doesn't matter WHAT you invest your time in, just make sure it has real world value and makes you learn real world skills.

the autist mind can be used for good and evil. it can destroy you, or build you.

>t. diagnosed at age 8, was isolated for most of my childhood till my mid teens, realized all this and became a misogynistic womanizer.

>life is about one thing, and that thing is not being born with autism.
i noticed a common pattern in that all dating advice is extremely ableist. everything i'm told not to do is something is an autistic trait. no matter what it is they're saying, it literally all translates to "don't be autistic"
>>
>>82977989
How about not caring at all about what other people do say or think. I am autistic and spent most of my life learning electrical engineering and repairing electronics. There are many who are far better at it than I am. However there are far more who are terrible at it and think I do some kind of black magic. Even get many who bring me crap to fix because they can't be brave enough to open their own device and fix it themselves which often times I believe most of these people are more than capable of doing. My only goal is to fix what is broken. It makes me feel better making old things that were headed to the dump now have a new lease of life. Even imagine I am a doctor and the electronic device is my patient thay I am trying to save. It makes me happy and content and I enjoy learning more and doing things that most wouldn't. You care too much about what others think.
