If you have any mechanical inclination I recommend the fuck out of going to aircraft maintenance school. The schooling itself is easy af, you mostly get trained on the job and you have a manual for whatever you're working on at all times. It's nowhere near as stressful and dirty as being a car mechanic. Starting pay at a large airliner is like $35-38/hr, and you can be at $50/hr within five years. Wish to God I had done that shit when I was 18.
