what is with the amount of anons who want someone who shares common interests? not only are there are a million things more important than that, but talking to someone who claims to like the same stuff as you or thinks they are similar to you is one of the most annoying experiences.personally, the stuff that i like is only okay when i like it. if someone tried to seem like they had the same hobbies, interests, background, or outlook on life that i do, i would just be annoyed and stop talking to them.like i just want some generic guy who likes coffee shops and dc comics and begrudgingly does volunteer work to try to seem like a good person and doesn't take an extreme interest in anything but is nice to be around and fairly responsible. you know the type, and they're everywhere. people searching for someone to match their totes awesome (generic) taste in shocking european films and post rock and urbex and travel to japan and whatever else it is that zoomers love are going to end up in the worst situations possible. if i want to binge watch todd solondz or talk about my least favorite ethnic groups or show off my new winter wardrobe i can just do those things with like, a friend of the same sex.
