yeah modern apartments don't usually have good place to attach things. i have staked out a couple spots in the woods myself, which was easy since there are a lot of little cliffs around here with trees leaning over the edge, bur otherwise i'd choose a bridge

i don't mean to push you if you're not sure, but it's genuinely very easy, and boating accessory stores sell these ropes with a reinforced loop at the end so you don't even have to tie a noose. i don't climb trees though, i just find nice, steep drops

cops have tracked you down by your phone's gps? damn. but i don't think they'd try to interrupt a suicide unless you tell people or make social media posts about it or something. they could probably use it to find you some days later though. i just ordered the rope i wanted to my door. i'd think you want something as inflexible, inelastic as possible, and the higher the friction, the better the knots will hold.

i don't intend to post about it, but i'll probably be filed as missing pretty quickly so they could do it again. I don't live alone that's why. I'll see what rope I can obtain. also should I write a will or something? I'm not sure who will inherit my stuff, but i'd like it to go to my friends and parents if I can. yes, unless you write a will your friends will get nothing. i don't know about your country exactly but the default is that it goes to parents if you haven't got a wife or kids. i really can't say what formal stuff is required for a will to be effective under your jurisdiction but you'll likely need witnesses signing. google can probably tell you.
