If we can't use science to CRISPR all women into futanari elves or kill all Indians, why do we value science?
>>
>>83162774
We could do either but choose not to research such things.

do NOT photoshop Frieren with a PENIS you homo

We probably could, but genetic research is greatly hampered by moralfags. It's really hard at a university to get live dog eggs any cell culture has to be passed by an ethics board good luck getting human embryos and eggs which is kinda required for this kind of development.

There would also be a remarkable amount of failures in the end. For every successful technique a few thousand failures are required. Some of our most insightful discoveries in medical science for example happened in WW2 by japs and germans by experimentation on jews and POWs.

The one time one guy used CRISPR he removed genes that caused a disease off of a baby and the scientific community got pissed off and removed his certifications
He was a chinese mad scientist, legend

>We probably could, but genetic research is greatly hampered by moralfags
100% it's so annoying
>an ethics board
oh my god man you know how bad it really is like
the only places without that shit are like africa or myanmar but i doubt people wouldve heard of crispr there
honest to god pseudoscience this ethics shit is, derrails all sort of research
>There would also be a remarkable amount of failures in the end. For every successful technique a few thousand failures are required. Some of our most insightful discoveries in medical science for example happened in WW2 by japs and germans by experimentation on jews and POWs.
i think we are slowly getting close to a third world war anyway once the economy collapses in 2 - 3 years because of AI or some other bubble
if only we didnt have people who keep doing bureaucratic bullshit, we're the land of brave and home of the free damnit, not china

Another obvious problem even if ethical restraints were removed is the matter of how to secure necessary resources/funding. This kind of research isn't cheap, and if women started selling their eggs for this research (they already do kek I wonder what glowies do with them) then I doubt it would be that cheap.

In short you would need to propose a genetic/biological product that would make all of that money and restraint worth it. And what you posted isn't really it. Too niche, only would be appealing to degenerate homo billionaires. We shall see, maybe as even more wealth and consumer spending gets funneled to the top 1%, there will a be a bigger market/interest for this kind of stuff. Perhaps we will be able to cater to desires that never existed before.

>oh no, think of the cells
And meanwhile torturing animals in pharma is perfectly fine
Absolute clown world
>>
>>83162913
Not them, but that's the point. Advances in molecular bio that could greatly heal or improve people would make a ton of pharmaceuticals useless. Why have someone take some pain meds for the rest of their life if you can fix their pain?
>>
>>83162913
Animals do not have rights.
Animal cells aren't easy to procure. I think the ethic board is less concerned about animal or human suffering/welfare and more about what the research could produce.
>>
>>83162913
Literally. Imagine how many advancements we could've made if we literally were just allowed to do shit
No certifications, nothing. But nope, that's just wartime shit.

>Advances in molecular bio that could greatly heal or improve people would make a ton of pharmaceuticals useless
Oh. Yeah, fuck the lobbying industry. No wonder cancer ever gets solved.
>>
>>83162774
Without science I couldn't jerk off to the futanari elves on the internet whenever I want so that's some value I guess. Seriously though fuck anyone that continues to hamper genetic research or stuff like it.
>>
>>83162828
Yeah Frieren is definitely the type to conjure up a strapon instead of making herself grow a dick.
