Thinking a low fertility rate will lead to 0 population is as retarded as economists thinking growth is infinite.We are in a transitional phase. Old people will die off and unlock tons of inheritance money for the younger generation, and then we will see a spike in fertility. Additionally as the population shrinks, resources will be freed up and make it easier for people to raise families.And if none of this comes to pass, then eventually people would get fed up and overthrow the government and replace it with a traditionalist one, which is something which has happened many times before, and we are all seeing signs of it happening again.
