i've been a neet for 10 years

When will you start living your life OP?

I've been a semi-NEET and am now a wagie. OP isn't missing out on anything. If he got a job, he'd have money...but no time to actually enjoy that money. I only did what I did to make my parents proud and amass savings/investments to retire as soon as possible.
Nothing in this life is more valuable than your own time. No wage can compensate for the fact that each day I waste 9h of my life on commuting and waging. All I can do is get rich in order to make wagiedom as short as possible.

I wageslaved for 15 years and became NEET a few years ago and eventually moved back in with my mom
Been using all my extra time to make a game, which is a childhood dream of mine come true
Sometimes you gotta know how much the other side sucks before you can truly appreciate the freedom of NEETdom

I knew it sucked from a young age, which is why I delayed it as much as possible. My job isn't even bad or difficult, I just hate how much time I waste there and I hate waking up early.
> eventually moved back in with my mom
I'm lucky my parents will never kick me out and they'll let me inherit their place and savings. That's mainly what makes this possible. If I had to move out, I'd be just another average wagie living paycheck-to-paycheck with decades of debt, like almost everyone I know.
And yea, living with your parents does make you stand out among normies but I genuinely don't give a shit. I have my own room and I eat healthy cooked food every day. If you get along well with your parents and there are job opportunities in your city, moving out seems like a very stupid decision.

Yeah all my money went towards rent/bills when I was living on my own, it was impossible to get ahead.
You get a raise? Inflation has already outpaced it.
You got a little money set aside? Surprise expenses motherfucker
You get sick? lmao you better not call off work or you're at risk of being fired since you're easily replaceable
Using this time to get my game studio going is my best move, if it fails by the time mom passes then I'll suck it up and start wageslaving again, and if it works out then I'll have a way to generate income by doing things I enjoy doing. I got maybe a decade to make it happen and the ball has begun rolling

Nigga every lifestyle has its pros and cons, after 10 years you ought to stop being your own worst enemy and just enjoy your solitude cause nobody here is gonna save you.

Good luck with that. I never really wanted to do anything productive with my life. Just want to pursue my hobbies and masturbate as much as I can. I don't think there's anything you could pay me to do 8h a day, 5 days a week and be happy, but I imagine working on your own time at home is a lot better. I wouldn't mind working part-time from home for like 20h a week, maybe.

I wasted over ten years of years of my life as an RN. At least neets always have fun.

I'm becoming a general artist (writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, etc). After wagecucking for more-or-less a decade, I'm tired of a normal life. I have some moments of pleasure, but a normal life doesn't bring me much joy.

I have been a neet for 2 years now and it feels like my brain turned to mush and I can't do anything anymore, except eating, scrolling and sleeping.
How did you make it to year 10?

Life is like vidya. Pick a quest and work toward it. You're just aimless.
