prove you're not a zoomer:how do you call the act of running in circles so zombies follow you in one single group
I barely played cuckolduty
>>83268526Old ass man bitching bout videogames baka
>>83268526Rape train, but I'm a zoomer. First COD was big red one on the PS2.
>>83268526kiting
Farming or baiting?
>>83268526roundabout or wrangling
do you mean like bunny-hopping or strafe-jumping in Quake games?i don't know what this game is. why does an FPS have prompts for a game controller...?
aggroing mobs.
for me it was Day of Defeat because it was free (if you had Half-Life).America's Army was fun too. literally a recruitment tool for the US Army. i wonder how many gamers are now actually dead because of a video game.
>>83268526Is this the thread where we give every answer but the actual one?The answer is "Training".As a WANGHAF that started on BO2, I've played every COD zombies game since and am currently playing through Ashes of the Damned, waiting for Astra Malorum to release.
kiting, baiting, aggro
>>83268614I think this is what op was looking for OP come back give us the verdict
>>83268761i would disagree. OP is asking for the term for running them around, which is independent from having the aggro. you can have the aggro but not be doing anything special movement wise with the mobs
>>83268761No it's circle strafing, you're all zoomers
>>83268526you mean circlestrafing? that isn't still a thing in FPSes? I remember it being standard ever since mouselook, back in, like, Quake 2>>83268614>>83268740no you're thinking of huntards in WoW
no its training, specifically rape train and im a zoomer, specifically useful on cod 5 waw with its tighter maps like nacht
too subjectivejust ask what the best box weapon was in nacht der untoten
>>83268526Kiting?What do zoomzooms call it?>>83268614That's for initiating their attention or getting their attention if someone else has it.>>83268840Is that a PC term?I've never heard of circlestrafing as someone who mostly played on console in the 00s.
>>83268526The act is training, but the object created is a rape train
>>83269163guess it must be a PC thing. You strafe one direction (possibly while also running/backpedaling) and mouselook in the other, you go around in a circle while keeping your aim on the same target. I only heard the term kiting in an MMO (not FPS) context where you use something that slows an enemy while backpedaling to keep your distance from it, without any strafing necessarily being involved. Also that has more of an implication of "lead the mob somewhere" more than "keep your aim on it to DPS it". Aggro was a standard term in MMO land but seemed rare in FPS. No idea what either of these are called in the various console worlds, I've only ever been a PCfag
>>83268526>call of the deadI miss it.I want to play it again but I don't want to spend shekels like that.
>>83268644I liked Team Fortress Classic back in the day
>>83268526We always used to call it r*petrain
>>83269404Do you remember being a teenager in a voice chat lobby playing Halo or Call of Duty?
I don't know why people act like calling it a rape train is that special. It was 2010 Call of Duty, no shit people called it that. It got shortened to training, older games with similar melee hordes would call it kiting. Big fuckin whoop.
>>83269404It's on steam and the plutonium client could be used for zombies. Just be prepared for nat type bullshit if you do private matches.
