does anyone else not really look forward to things anymore? i used to be waiting for season 2's of shows i liked, upcoming games, adaptions, etc. arcane s2 was shit, panty and stocking s2 was whatever, one punch man is ass, havent given a shit about video games for almost a decade, i just dont really trust things anymore and have stopped giving a shit. maybe its just me getting older?
>>83270114Tastes change as people age or you could have anhedonia. Shouldn't be a problem as long as there's other stuff you enjoy.
>>83270114these type of things usually have nothing to do with the quality of the productsadhedonia is a sign of depression
>>83270114Convert to judaism, fuck some Kazhar milkers and find happiness again.I'm serious.
>>83270114I am the same, we haven't changed, everything has just turned to shit, but normalfags who eat their slop with a grin because they can't imagine anything better.
>>83270133You'd mutilate your dick in order to fuck Jew?Of course you would, vile creature that you are.
>>83270114I wonder this too, and feel the same. Everything is new and exciting as a child, but the more you learn and discover, the less there is that's new and exciting. But maybe it's the lasting effects of SSRIs too.
>>83270152Reform Jews let you just do a symbolic pin prick thing and shed a single drop of blood.
>>83270174Remember being a kid, and when you liked one thing you liked ALL the things associated with it? If you like the cartoon you also like the game, the book, the comic, the action figures etc regardless of how shitty some of those were in hindsight.
>>83270174It's the SSRIs lingering effects. Even after 3 years of stopping I still can't enjoy things the same.It kills your desire to kill yourself, but also kills everything else in your brain.I always wonder why doctors approve them.Isn't the same to shutdown brains and to let people kill themselves?
>>83270114this is just what its like to be an adult. i can still enjoy old anime or a game from time to time, but for the most part i just find these types of activities really boring. i dont think its necessarily anhedonia or disappointment creeping up on you, more so just tolerance for cheap entertainment that gets reduced. i still enjoy working on technical projects, programming, reading books etc. maybe you just need to find something that engages you more intellectually?
>>83270194Wtf are you me? I could have written this myself. It's sad to say but is true. I really regret going on them in 2019, I wasn't even in THAT bad shape, just a bit sad and anxious. If I could go back in time I would just hit the gym and eat healthily. I am stuck feeling numb and just 'existing' now. Not truly living. Almost like a modern version of a lobotomy.
It may be anhedonia, as some anon suggested, but to be fair OPM S3 seems to have had a totally shitty production, especially in comparison to Madhouse's OPM (S1), and maybe the worsening of Arcane S2 is real too (you know, Netflix executives pressuring creative people and all). Or your problem may simply be because we are changing the way we "consume" media. Or yes, it may be anhedonia.>>83270194NTA, but I agree to some extent. It's hard sometimes to feel that joy or that excitement, but I've been able to feel joy or satisfaction ever now and then, and I felt true excitement some days ago. I wonder if in the end the problem with ssris, depression or both. I mean, ssris can let a long lasting effect on the body. Don't know about the mood, but it is the case for sexual function at least.
>>83270194>>83270220I'm on SSRIs and I still have fun, just not in a way that has me basedjaking over it. I personally prefer it this way. Being calmer, less anxious is neat.
>>83270114Nah, easier to look backwards for hidden gems. Prefect example, been playing this for weeks, cost me $1.99 on steam
>>83270278Watch your back, knight. Watch your back.
>>83270114You're an adult, stop getting into kid stuff. It's obvious you're going to be disappointed.
>>83270292Infidel!
>>83270307what is "adult stuff"? reading shitty ass philosophy books?
