You'll should know that you'll run out of money sooner than you think and you'll get another wagie job that you'll hate even more than the one you already have

yeah ok shut up
>>83270484
huh?
>>
You will need a visa to work there legally. Don't think you can just walk into any country without being deported
>>
>>83270496
oh wait I meant this is a vacation lmao
AN OVERSEAS VACATION
>>
>>83270501
oh, then yeah, depending on where you are from, you may or may not need a tourist visa. Check your country + foreign country requirements. Then just book a flight and hotel. Make sure you have a passport
>>

thx
well seems easy enough
from usa to japan
>>
>>83270775
Passports take a while to get. You may also need special vaccinations. I'm sure Japan has a government website with everything you'll need
>>
>>83270845
i have a passport already
>>
>>83270775
you can stay in Japan up to 90 days without a visa. So yeah, just book flight and hotel and go. I am going to Japan in 3 weeks and have gone before, ask ke anything
>>
>>83270928
ok
how do you buy stuff?
and how much language knowledge do you need?
>>
>>83270952
So in the city, most places would accept credit card. You can get cash withdrawn from 7/11 atm with decent fees and exchange rate. You also will need a transit card like suica or pasmo (any of them works for most part) which you can get at the airport, there usually a booth you can buy one and put money on in the train station connected to the airport. You can also use these to buy stuff like a debit card.

Japanese not really necessary for the most part in a city like Tokyo. You can learn some basics and use translation apps to get by. Of course if you go further away from the city, might be difficult

does debit card work?
>>
>>83271050
I haven't tried (they work in the ATMs of course). They still use the same credit card processors for the card. Otherwise you can just withdraw cash from 7/11 and then load it into the transit (IC) card at the same ATM machine.

plane tickets

book hotel on a weekly basis and explore appartments/share houses/small studio

eat smart 7/11 etc cheap and use it for taking out money debit/credit cards work just use cash all the time unless ur stuck

stay around 90 days visa free you can leave for 1-2 days go to korea etc and then return if you plan on staying longer

if you plan on staying even longer research how to apply for a visa do so as soon as you can if youre sure

should keep you under budget no idea how long you want to stay
>>
>>83271091
honestly might be helpful to have some backups for payments if you run into some issues
>>
>>83270466
How much money do you have saved up?
Where are you going?
Realistically how long can you stay there before you run out of money?
>>
>>83271095
I forgot to mention its a vacation lmao xd
no its only 5 days
>>83271206
ITS A VACATION

>>
>>83271224
5 DAYS IS NOT LONG ENOUGH. wHY EVEN BOTHER? An intercontinental holiday should be two weeks at the absolute minimum.
