>>83271734I am a mix of social worker and tutor who helps disabled, disadvantaged and traumatised children to learn and socialise. A huge portion of my job is writing up reports to my country's child abuse investigation agency, describing in detail scenes of children watching their mothers self harm, or being beaten by their dads and siblings, or how they have started huffing glue because their much older "friends" (sexual abusers) got them into it. I also have to try and teach these same children maths and basic grammar when all they want to do is watch AI generated slop shorts on their beaten up, hand-me-down or stolen iPads, and attempt to explain basic morality to them (you shouldn't bash a small child's face against the tile floor until they are unconscious because they took the pen you wanted).It's a livin'.

nobody will hire me and those who do will openly threaten bodily harm when I don't perform to their expectationsonce I was threatened with fag dragging by a coworker in front of two managers, managers took his side because I told him not to swear me out and threaten me in front of customers, HR let me go to voicemail, and the cops had no reason to pursue anything or investigate the coworkeranother time I was a store shelf stocker and literally missed one greeting, the day after telling the shift manager that I'm going through some shit and I apologize if I'm not very chatty, and his first instinct was to swear me out and threaten to fire meand my most recent job I was a tard-wrangling driver, the facility manager was a bitch and refused to let me let them into the building until she personally cleared my van (usually over half an hour btw) (this is the behavior group who bites and pisses the seat and screams when they're three minutes late). Eventually I got bit by one and she had no reaction at all to the fact my arm was gouged out like a pitbull bit it.so yeah hire me and treat me as a human being and I'll work.

The work can be done, they would just rather dick around and go "ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". They don't want to hire anyone. They want to purposefully keep a team understaffed because why pay more people when you can pay 3 people the same amount of money for doing the work of a 10 man crew.
