The idea of Christianity is that if you accept the salvation that Jesus offers, you will be saved and you will go to heaven after death. The alternative being Hell. In Finland we call it "kadotus" which literally comes from the word "lost", meaning that Hell is similar to oblivion. You will be lost. Gone.I have this theory, mate.I don't believe that when people go to hell they will literally burn in a sea of fire. You know how atheists always say that nothing happens after death? Atheists believe that your conscious will simply shut down and you're in a sleep-like state where you don't think or feel anything because your mind simply doesn't exist anymore. Perhaps hell is that state. Oblivion. Your hard drive gets formatted and the operating system is gone forever. Maybe your soul gets another try in another body, I wouldn't know. But maybe the salvation Jesus offers is that your mind - your operating system - gets literally saved instead of getting formatted. They say your name gets written down in the Book of Life. It's like a database of all the people who wish to continue existing. I've always felt that it's unfair that people don't get what they want after death. I always want both atheists and Christians to be right. Maybe they are. Maybe atheists get the oblivion they wished for, and Christians get the heaven they wished for. And it all comes down to choice, which is what accepting Christ has always been about. All you need to do is choose.
There's already a game about this. It's called The Talos Principle.
>>83276359Sounds interesting but the Wikipedia page is too long for me to bother reading itI cant read long texts anymoreI dont know why, but I just cant focus.
>>83276369Yet you expect any of us to read your postCurious
>>83276381Welcome to the narcissistic age. People exist to gratify themselves now.You can blame Tiktok and Google for that
I reada creepypasta on this once. The athiest dies and God takes him to the afterlife, go to some well, and he goes towards complete oblivion because he didn't believe until he is revived to tell the tale. During the walk, the mc sees every afterlife for what each person believes and goes to after they die.
>>83276437But the atheist is given oblivion while the Christian is granted eternal bliss based solely on imagining it?I'd imagine the conversation with whatever creator exists to be something like this:https://youtu.be/ttevamkS6gwThat's assuming a god, and a just one, but that isn't likely.
>>83276467Why wouldant God be fair? I mean, even I am. I'd expect that the smarter a being is, the more empathetic and just they are.
>>83276352>is similar to oblivionthey should've released TES6 instead of this shitty remaster
>>83276546malaria.
>>83276369Unironically use AI. One thing that LLMs are actually good for is making you want to read again. Simply copypaste the text or download it as a .pdf then upload it to the model, and ask it to summarize the points in a style you find more readable.
>>83277159Do robots actually? What are you hoping to see, The Talos Principle summarized on ThugNotes?
>>83277163I'm serious, I had the same issue with struggling to read long texts for years despite having read many books as a kid and LLMs have helped me recover a lot of that. A good system prompt goes a long way toward making it adopt a style of writing that appeals to you.
https://youtu.be/OchyYnlHTdoWhatever makes you feel as if you're reading I guess. This AI shit is fatiguing the hell out of me but I guess I'm the only one.
>>83276352>Perhaps hell is that stateIf that's the case hell sounds amazing, all I dream of is for the afterlife to be not reallife already fucking sucks and all I want to do is be unconscious, if I die and have to do more shit, I'm crashing out.
the bible said heaven is in the skyyet it wasn't therewhy do you believe the rest of the jew fairytales
