This gotta be the most GOYSLOP ass show ever. Mid, not even that good but for some reason is glazed by every normie in existence.
Why's this the case?

name 3 show you like first
>>
>>83279754
This show tricked Americans into thinking that they listened to Kate Bush in the eighties.
>>
>>83279754
I dropped by episode two, but I have a crappy taste because I saw the entire first season of Russian doll and enjoyed it.
>>
>>83279764
Not OP, but all the shows that I could name started great and went downhill in subsequent seasons or had absolutely terrible endings, only exception is probably The Sopranos because I can't think of any others that were consistently good.
>>
>>83279794
I also watched the entire first season of Russian Doll and enjoyed it, but there's a difference between watching something you know is bad but enjoying it despite that and people who think something must be good because they enjoy it.
>>
>>83279797
>Sopranos
I'm curious to know what the other shows you have in mind are
>>
>>83279764
Dexter, mr robot, mandalorian
>>
>>83279835
i think there is just no breaking through post 2019 cynicism
>>
>>83279754
I hate the heckin 80s aesthetic
that was the start of mindless consumerism
>>
>>83279835
I haven't seen the other two, but Dexter is only good for one season. The second one and the fourth one are alright, but the rest is terrible. It makes sense when you know about the book and it only having material for the first season if I remember correctly.
>>
>>83279818
Generation Kill just came to mind as another show that was consistently good.
Breaking Bad, Hannibal, Game of Thrones are some which had waning quality towards the end.
Severance has started to go downhill but hasn't concluded yet, and I fear for the future of Silo.
These are just the ones that came to mind.
There are weird shows which were enjoyable slop like Alcatraz that never got renewed for more seasons as well so I never got to know if the mystery was leading towards anything interesting or if they were going to drop the ball like Lost.
>>
>>83279835
Did you actually enjoy the subsequent seasons of Mr Robot and Mandalorian?
I've never watched Dexter, but I found those other two highly disappointing starting at season 2 for both.
>>
>>83279860
Oh I think I remember. Doakes exploded and survived as a giant sentient thumb in the books so it goes to the second season as well.
>>
>>83279865
ok... but i thought everyone likes stranger things
>>
>>83279860
Yeah I haven't finished Dexter but I'll prolly stop watching it by the 4th or 5th season.
Haven't finished mandalorian nor Mr robot either desu, I just liked the first season.

I don't think I've ever finished a show other than smiling friends. Kinda sad ngl

>>83279876
Mr robot? Nah, I watched like 2 or 3 episodes from the second season and they were hella boring, ended up abandoning it.
I watched mandalorian a long time ago so I don't remember much, but I think that at the time I did like the second season, never started the third one tho.
>>
>>83279876
Mr Robot sucks because they don't actually show the thing

Season 1 ends with the promise of Tyler Durden from Fight Club teaming up with Patrick Bateman from American Psycho
And they forgot to show the big event and then Bateman disappears for the following season
>>
Havent watched any of season 5 yet. I thought season 1 was good but the show declined steadily for there out (which seems to be the case for most modern shows for some reason). I think what they did with the main villain is super gay and retarded, completely demystified the whole demon realm thing. All the new gay characters is lame. Dialogue was somewhat serious at first, now they act like Disney characters. Hopper and the Russian prisoners fighting the monster in the prison was pretty cool
>>
>>83279754
liking a show that normies watch is so annoying, they genuinely ruin the experience
they make everything uncool
>>
>>83279920
Are you calling me a normie cause of my taste?
I don't know, Stranger Things just doesn't appeal to me at all, I haven't even bothered to watch enough of it to hate it like OP besides a clip here and there.
>>
>>83280126
>they make everything uncool
It wouldn't even be so bad if they didn't have such shit taste which in turn brings down the quality of everything else in general.
Anime being a great example of this, the Japanese normies made anime bad enough during the 00s with only a couple dozen outliers, but the quality of it since the 10s has gone down consistently thanks to the western normie adoption, now we're lucky to get a single actually decent pieces of anime a year and it's usually a film.
