But if some sperg is taking up 2 hours eating 4 strips of bacon and nursing a cup of coffee the final bill is going to be like $8 and you'll leave like a $2 tip for the waitress. These places are designed to feed you (relatively) quick, and get you out. At first they might not say anything, but eventually a manager will come up to you, and ask you to leave. If you give them any issues they'll kick you out as they have the right to refuse anyone service. If you keep doing this they will eventually ask you to not come back. That you are no longer welcome at their establishment.You are better off going to a cafe and doing this. That environment is better suited for hanging around, and reading/working versus diners. Just the reality of it.
