>be me

>always play videogames alone
>one day change steam name to funny anime reference
>get added by a random

>pristine game choices
>definitely not a normie
>want to talk to him
>he's always invisible
>I stop using invisible so he talks to me
>he never does
>I know he's active because I can see his game time increase
>want to initiate but don't want to out myself as a stalker
>time goes by
>he still doesn't talk to me
>it's been 2 months

Do I do the right thing for my mental and delete him or do I keep hyperfixating on something that will never happen?
>>
always invisible is a red flag for men, women, dogs, things in the middle
>but i don't want people to talk to me
then don't add people
>>
>>83282064
Hyperfixate on me instead pls
>>
>>83282064
If she added you just open a DM and ask her what she found so interesting about your page/where she saw you
I do that anytime I get a random fr and don't recognize the name from any games I've been in
>>
>>83282064
>>definitely not a normie
Why do spergs dislike normies so much?
>>
>>83282064
>pristine game choices
List 'em, I want to find my own turbo autistic foid.
>>
>>83282096
Because a normie will (rightfully) call you weird for having dolls of japanese cartoons with their tits out or a loser for playing videogames for 10 hours a day. They probably wouldn't want to be your friend in the first place
>>83282106
Some popular stuff like csgo but mostly grand strats and obscure weeb games
>>
>>83282221
Meh, that's what you play? CS feels like a shooter for people who hate shooters.
>>
>>83282241
Not OP but my bf said the same thing to me, and I don't get it. It's just a shooter with weird recoil and an emphasis on team tactics, not sure what's so abti-shooter about it...
>>
>>83282064
Where do I find non-normie women older than 22 who are single?

Asking for a friend, by which I mean this entire board
>>
>>83282221
>grand strats games
It sucks that no real women are into this kind of games and only men and trannies. Need to marry my gf in ck2.
>>
>>83282264
Having grown up on stuff like Unreal Tournament, Quake, Doom, Half-Life, Shadow Warrior etc makes the static camp-based gameplay of CS stick out a lot. The weird recoil patterns you mention (and the gunplay as a whole) also requires a very specific type of skill that doesn't translate to any other game.
>>
>>83282295
I mean sure you're not flipping coins or outrunning your BFG shot, but the pace is intentional and tactically focused. Not much different from Siege. You're holding up a defensible position, or you're sneaking your way to a bomb site to plan an assault. When the gunfire starts, CS is very fast.
I played CS mainly during the early updates of Global Offensive. Never got out of silver hell cause I started off with no knowledge of the game's recoil or other systems. But if I were outside silver hell I absolutely would find great enjoyment in it. Coordinating with a team is fun...when they do it too.

>When the gunfire starts, CS is very fast.
Not really in the way that I like, the "fast" part is just the TTK since everyone dies if you sneeze at them.
>Coordinating with a team is fun
This I agree with but I prefer other team shooters. DESU I don't hate CS and do play it from time to time, got up to Eagle once but it's never been a huge thing for me, usually it's because I just want to play a team shooter and other games are too dead whereas CS always has a million other nerds online. Thankfully today The Finals exists so I can default to that instead.
>>
>>83282241
Nah I used to play it years ago. Sometimes I get a phase where I mildly have fun with something like Apex, but it doesn't last long.
>>83282292
I played hoi4 for about 150 hours before it bore me, but I still think people who play them are pretty cool. I personally prefer rts and mmos.
>>
>>83282295
>doesn't translate to any other game
Not even to Valorant? It's literally the bastard child of CS and Overwatch. The gunplay at least is very similar. There's also other tac shooters where you definitely benefit of CS experience.
>>
>>83282414
hoi4 is boring as hell, it is the first try from paradox to make their games more appealing to people who don't like grand strategy games because they are too complex for them and it shows. Only the old paradox games are good. Where are you even from op?
>>
>>83282502
Hmm good point, but that's a game that was explicitly designed to siphon CS players.
>>
>>83282524
No I agree, I don't mind when games require you to look up outside info to properly play them, but when everyone is just simply better than you because only the most dedicated playerbase remains I burn out quickly. That applies to any genre. I like watching streams of people playing EU despite barely understanding what the fuck is going on tho
I'm euro living in the states, sorry for eslism
>>
>>83282064
i feel like your game choices are very kino, have you thought about being a vtuber and attracted an anime bf moid
>>
>>83282064
i kind of want to play hoi with the economy overhaul mod, that seems like it would be super fun with my tism
>>
>>83282064
hes probably just grinding 20k usd for Peacekeeper. Give him some time
>>
>>83282064
>>83282072
don't listen to first reply
invisible and no comm means green flag. only desperate men abuse their extrovert tendencies to gain something. just initiate it, after that the flow will be unstoppable. also you can just ghost if you find out some red flags later, easy. does he play LoL though lol that makes him mentally ill unless he's streamer and forcing it.
>>
>>83283352
Clocked. I used to be a 2view for a couple years but it isn't for me. I unironically suck at talking to people and my social battery is minimal. I enjoy games way more if I can fully focus, steaming them feels like a chore.
>>83283663
kek'd
>>83283684
Agreed, green flag. But makes it impossible to befriend other introverts if you're both retards at initiating. I don't know what he plays outside of Steam.
