How much do anons make

Do you think financial freedom is one of few ways to not live a miserable existence

>How much do anons make
~500k/yr depending on my performance review and the stock performance of my company
>Do you think financial freedom is one of few ways to not live a miserable existence
Depends on what you mean by financial freedom, but absence of significant debt and a healthy amout of savings and assets make my life significantly less stressful. I 100% recommend it. If my wife had to work I would have to do more of the chores and she wouldn't be available for me for that time. If I had significant debts to pay I would worry about losing my job, but instead I just do a good job without stressing myself out and can tell higher ups when they're making bad decisions without worrying about being canned. I could probably make a lot more money running my own consultancy business, but I don't think that's worth the additional stress, time, and risk. Passive income is rarely really passive and leveraged investments are just gambling.

What about being poor and hot vs rich and ugly

pretty much, otherwise you're always putting someone else immediately after or before yourself

$0 ATM. A year ago I made ~$90k in a dead end stressful, tech lead position. I crashed out and quit, then I tried to build my own SaaS stuff and freelance and I've been eating shit ever since

>Do you think financial freedom is one of few ways to not live a miserable existence

Yes. I don't qualify for neetbux and I've noticed that my quality of life has been miserable ever since I quit and I've been desperately looking for paid users while my last savings evaporate in this economy. If I had financial freedom and didn't depend from a wagie job I would probably be the happiest motherfucker alive. Nowadays I live in constant stress whether I'll be homeless by the end of the year and eating garbage because I can't afford better
>>
>>83283082
185k as a codemonke. I am likely quitting it soon to earn 0$ an hour working on my own thing until that fails and I have to find another job.
>>
>>83283114
Holy shit where do you live that you get that much? I'm getting 9.5k a year
>>
>>83283229
Government work, started at 16/hr, then just kept moving up. Sometimes I still dont know what the fuck im doing. I actually just got a 3.5% raise that starts at the first of the year

>>
>>83283267
Damn here you can't even have more than 4k in the bank before they cut you off until you spend it. I couldn't imagine accumulating millions I think even if they scale it back a bit it'll still be incredibly generous at that point
>>83283275
So was that in Australian dollars then?
>>
>>83283253
Unsolicited advice I'm the guy above you but please if possible just side hustle your business and quit until it's profitable or absolutely necessary. You will eat shit if you don't have a plan and need to pay debts. I didn't have much of a choice since I ended up in the hospital when I had a nervous breakdown and crashed out from that shitty job, but if your job is comfy and you can balance things don't quit yet
>>
>>83283288
oh yeah its in aussie dollars lmao
>>
>>83283082
I'd say it's one of the only ways. The money itself isn't important. The freedom that having that money brings is.
>>
>>83283292
I appreciate the warning but fortunately I have no debts and a few hundred thousand in savings, but yeah I plan to keep at my job for at least another month or two. My job is not comfy and I cannot do both. Even interviewing while continuing to work at it is killing me, and then I had a chance to work on something come up through some people I know and it seems interesting/real enough to at least give me something to put on my resume even if we don't manage to sell it.
>>
>>83283082
I make about the same. More than enough for me to live comfortably without worrying very much.
>>
>>83283303
In that case you're just getting a little more than me right now after conversions. But with the increase it'll be basically double
>>
>>83283082
1.5k neetbux per month and a shit ton of subsidization off all things like rent, bills, healthcare.
>>
>>83283371
>fortunately I have no debts and a few hundred thousand in savings
Yeah you're set up for success, the most stressful thing is having debts and little to no savings AND no access to neetbux.
>My job is not comfy and I cannot do both
I can relate to that too, my last job wasn't comfy and I just tried to save as much as I could before the eventual meltdown. It looks like you already have a plan. Don't delay monetizing your project, do that ASAP I wish I had done so earlier and monetize it with reasonable prices depending on your target audience (that was my second most crucial mistake) and make sure to shill it like crazy everywhere. You're gonna make it. I'll probably be dead soon but I'll be cheering from the other side for you
>>
>>83283082
Around 70K a year thru real neetbux a 1.5 million stock portfolio, I do shit with my life since I dont have to work and I definitely wont be donating it to a bitch.
>>
250k/y on average. i am going insane
>>

You guys are rich why are you posting with us? You could be out partying , fucking bitches and socializing with elites but no you wanna be with us for what reason
>>
25k

Yes, it's an area where you can achieve peace of mind. currently I have a small debt and it's enough to stress me more than I should.
>>
>>83283611
Because we don't live in the third world where being rich means you have extra rights.
>>
>>83283082
I make 160k/yr before bonus and am a millionaire thanks to investments, and I live in a rural area with fairly low cost of living outside of property.
>Do you think financial freedom is one of few ways to not live a miserable existence
I am miserable, but I am also comfortable. I'm still single, I don't meet whatever arbitrary requirements women have for men this week.
>>
The job I have now will net me $60k/yr. Thst doesn't include me picking up extra shifts due to my license, which I have. My previous was $80k/yr but I got a lot of OT and it was midnight shift so I made $110k. I was working a lot of OT for a good cause though.
>>
>>83283611
I may have money but Im not a Chad, so all I will ever get is some transactional garbage anyway, so who cares, you are either their fuck boy (the only thing worth being with them) or a beta bux (not interested), therefore my place is here, I dont like the elites and their worthless social hypocrisy, Im a very individualistic person who likes his privacy and space.
>>
>>83283082
When I had a job I made less than 40k a year.
To answer your question, absolutely. You can not have a solid foundation that would allow for possibly being free from misery without being financially secure.
>>
>>83283611
Money doesn't change people, it just shows them in a different light.

I saved a decent amount by living with my parents for a few years. Now that I'm alone though I really need another 15-20k to make it as comfortable as it was before. Stuck in entry level IT hell though.
