People, I see mainly men do this cause I usually lurk r9k but it is stupid. Appearance is almost the same with personality in terms of things you almost can't change. People are born to be drawn to certain behaviours the same with how they are born with specific physical interests. You can't change core personality features for you partner. For example I want a guy who is not a normie, with specific hobbies, blue eyes, not overweight, not bald, not low iq. People are born drawn to overeating, being weird, with certain intelect, with specific eye colour, with proclivity to baldness. Yes you can change them, you can get the surgery that removes melanin from your eyes (yes that is a thing), get hair implants, try to become smarter, try to become weird, lose weight, try to get into specific hobbies. But not only those are hard but also if you actually wanted to change those about yourself you would have started already. What you like to be or are ok with being is who you are

you can change personality, to an extent. i used to be judgemental, now i'm quite tolerant. used to be edgy, now i chill. was arrogant, got humbled. was cold and aloof, am now overly empathetic and engaged. at some level, i'm the same person, but almost all of the traits people talk about feeling attracted to or repulsed by can be changed.appearance is nothing like personality. one was given to you, the other was cultivated. one is shallow and arbitrary, the other is your very being. also your "appearance standards" are retarded and sound like a list of critera for a fucking job, and they're the same as everyone elses anyway. just say "i like hot men" and leave it at that.
