I was a borderline mute through late elementary and high school but because I was quiet and non-disruptive no one gave a shit. I just slipped through the cracks like butter. We had weekly mini presentations we had to do on whatever topic we were interested in for easy marks and I just never did them, never explained myself, never said anything and they just gave me the marks for it. Parents, teachers, peers no one gave a shit because I shut my mouth and was easy to ignore. I regret not acting out like a retard and making everyone's lives miserable.
